      Yep. Just create your own server, put it password protected and then nobody can hop in.

      Well, it is a multiplayer, co-operative game. It's recommended to play with friends, but if you're good at surviving; and act smart you should be able to do it alone.

    • Imagine if there is a mode in this game where 2 players play in a server. One player is the normal human and another player is Slenderman. The Slenderman has to catch the human. The human doesn't has "special power" but Slenderman has "special power" like sprint fast, invisible for a short period of time, or know where the human is.. it would be scary and funny :D

      would actually make Slenderman quite overkill and that would result in unbalanced gameplay.

      We're making this an entire co-operative experience. New modes may arise in later versions/updates but as of right now we're working with this one mode. Players will never be in the Slenderman's shoes. Too over-powered.

      To me that would kind of ruin the horror aspect knowing that there's some idiot running around as slender man, rather than him being ai controlled.

    • A little update on what's currently being worked on for the initial release that you guys can expect.
      ---
      • Two maps. SS_Forest and SS_Hospital
      • Players spawn with no weapons; and they can be killed in one shot if the Slenderman hits them.
      • Numerous spots around the maps where the Slenderman can appear. This can include behind doors, in buildings, and sometimes even behind you.
      • He'll grow more tentacles/appendages when he kills players.
      • 4 player models that the players will play as. To suit the "teenager" feel, they will be based of off social groups. This will include the "Emo", "Nerd", "Jock" and "Snob"
      • Players will breathe awkwardly when the Slenderman is close.
      • To have at-least one doll model completed & in-game.
      • You can voice-chat with people in your vicinity. If someone is too far away you cannot hear them (hopefully we can get this working)
      • Work on a "screen-blur" system so when the Slenderman gets too close, the player screens may get a bit blurry and reduce vision.
      • Hoping to have the maps even have some risks; such as traps, etc.
      • A series of unique voice-commands for people that don't have mics; and don't want to type out things like 'Behind you!'
      • And more!

      5. Great, I will fit the Nerd type. Also, add a fifth type, Burnouts, they are like the Punk kids with bad attitude.

      9. Put this as a option, so people can fuck with others in the settings with turning it off.

    • Decided to update you guys on a new feature we're doing.
      ---
      A light limitation to the players, so out of all the players only 1 would have an actual flashlight which works, but that person would have to find batteries around the map to keep it working. Thus pushing more towards that co-op aspect we really want to do right. Stray away from the player with the flashlight, and your chances of survival are probably slim to none.

      Might even try something that attracts the Slenderman to the light produced from the flashlight. We'll see.

    • Ye i know im typing on a phone rlly annoying so o didnt do every detail but that slendie will be spawned on the other side off the nap and has to find ths players he wont have a flashlight so its hard to apot people ect. Maybe thats an possibility

    • On the topic of "Pre-Set Responses", Castlevania: HD has something like this for players who don't have a mic.

      With the press of the select button, The player can bring up a wheel of different responses. The responses are as follows:

      "Hello"
      "Goodbye"
      "Here"
      "Got It"
      "Thanks"
      "Sorry"
      "Oops"
      "Good Work"

      I imagine a response wheel similar to that would suffice for nigh any occasion. But, That's if a response wheel is indeed being planned to be used in said manner.
