You wish to become an ultimate figure of power by defeating The Guy in battle. The Kid faces all the obstacles that range from nes games from Super Mario Bros to Castlevania. After climbing to the top of the tower of The Guy, it turns out The Guy is actually your father. After the battle was won, The Kid gains the Super Graphic Gun and becomes the Guy. In the sequel, I Wanna Be The Guy Gaiden You must defend your title by proving your worth as The Guy.
