I'm pretty sure it was using old requirements but today's PCs cannot support that... this game was released in 2006
And now I don't think it can make it work again until the maker of the game could update the game to be compatible with newer PCs...
Others who got the game to work have maybe old version of requirements or just got lucky and cannot explain what could be

Thank you for your interest in Opera Slinger! My name is Matthew Laurence, and I was Lead Designer on the title. Unfortunately, this was a student project completed just before the release of Windows Vista, and as such, the game has issues running on that operating system (no word if anyone's tried it on Windows 7, but I wouldn't be surprised if it had issues there, as well). As the Treblemakers have, sad to say, disbanded for new lives in the industry at large, we are unable to provide support for our fans.


I'm glad to hear people are still curious about Opera Slinger after all these years, and I'd be happy to answer any additional questions you might have about the title or its development. At the very least, you can always check out our gameplay video on YouTube at youtube.com/watch?v=AsoPkmtt4ko - I know it's not much, but hopefully it'll give you a good idea of what it was like!

Downloaded it and worked first try on 32-bit Windows 7
however I do have to run as administrator...

i might have it try to install the latest directx if that doesnt help downgrade it to DirectX 9c
