If you write a new answer in a thread and the previous is yours, the system should auto-apply this answer to the previous.
Duplicate entries could be avoided with this method.

There should be a time out. Since after a day has passed (after 0:00) then you are allowed to post again to bump your topic. Also , this can just be solved with common sense.

Sometimes, people doublepost (samemessage-post) when lag appears.

still doesn't change the fact they have to edit their post again to remove the duplicate.

The thing about bumping threads, its would be better, imo if you could have a 24h bump timer instead of having it on 00:00.
And that if the previous post is made by yourself.

Let me say, is there something wrong with double posts?

Its nothing wrong with them, mods can just merge them.

I highly doubt that that will happen , but it is the Admin's choice (mKeRix) and I'm thinking they are doing a fine job already.

More people are registering everyday and at some moment we need a new one.

Although the community is expanding. The average postcount of the forum stays the same (around 290 - 300 at the max). So there is no actual or atleast no big difference.
