    • Act II - Chapter III - Her Biological Unit


      I was free falling. These two girls - Leafy and Moira. They are gonna be my tools. My body feels so heavy. I looked at them and they looked at me with disgust. But that will change soon. Below me it was some kind of grid and we landed on it safely and passed through it. Leafy and Moira just stood there but I but I was breaking through the constrictor-beam. They were panicking. I used the last energy in my body to break through the force and it faded away. My arms and feet was free. “I wont hurt you” I said and looked away. “Okay, dont come close us.” Moira said and backed a bit. I started running forward. It must be here somewhere. I turned right and left, running through the hallways and looking for the serum. I found a big door that said “9E Access” and had a keycard reader on its side. “Seriously?” I said to myself and kicked the door open. A bright blue light shone on my skin. It was almost blinding me. A naked female body was stored a glass container. Cables was connected to her body that was leading up to the ceiling. There was a table with tons of papers and right at the left of the container was a door. I shoved the table away and all the documents spread all over the ground. I opened the door and saw the serum. I grabbed one and attached it to a syringe and pushed it into my right arm and squeezed all of it into me.

      I heard Leafy and Moira walking into the room and seeing me taking the serum. Moira picked up the bottle I used and read what it was “DRACO Transformation Serum” And she dropped it. I looked at her and she was shaking. “That was the only T-Serum we had.” Things was going better than I planned. Leafy ran out to the glass container room and picked up the documents on the floor and started to read for herself. “Isabelle R, DRACO subject volunteer” she looked at her floating peacefully inside the container and touched the glass gently “Why did you do this Isabelle?” She said and walked back to me. A sharp pain hit me and I cringed and fell to the ground. I felt how my skin was burning and how my body size was decreasing and comprimating. I hit my fist to the ground in the pain and I shouted. The pain was slowly fading away. There was a mirror next to me and got up while looking at myself. Welcome back - my real self.

      “DRACO status: Successful” Leafy said and dropped the documents. I grabbed them before they fell to the ground and kept reading. “Isabelle have volunteered to become the Biological Unit of our AI. We will name it ALaISA.” I looked at the container and went closer. “So, this is actually her.” I said and put the documents on the table. “Paragon are evil. I know what their plan was. They were developing DRACO in secrecy to make people more intelligent.” Moira looked at me with a angry expression. “The material on the face of our planet is fading away - and they need something else to power these machines we call computers. Make them more powerful. Humans can reproduce - therefore are a energy source.” I opened the documents and showed her. “This is the many gene-pairs that DRACO accept to grow on. Cloning humans are not allowed therefore they have to try as much as possible to get the right code.” I put it back on the table and turned around - looking at Isabelle. “How do you know all this?!” Moira almost shouted out. “I overheared it before I got DRACO injected. I was the last person they did it on.

    • Act II - Chapter IV - The Literary Edge

      I walked into her room. It was a tense moment. Eury looked at me and took out the module from my backpack and took out the module and put it on the module-socket. It became dead silent. Alarms was sounding and the chamber was getting filled with some cold gas. “Are you there? Anyhow, I am opening a portal to a new section in the ALaISA chamber” Heiko said from nowhere. A hole opened in the air and Eury shrugged and dove into it. I ran into it aswell and it became black.

      “Shit!” I said and felt the area trembling. “Whats going on?!” Moira shouted and fell to the ground. I have to run I thought and dashed through the doorway and ran as fast as I could. Behind the room with the Biological unit, a portal had opened and jumped through. Suddenly I was inside a big library. It was quite big - I walked around and came to some stairs. But it wasn’t just some, I was more likely that it was atleast one hundred floors up and to the bottom. I heard how the portal closed itself and the light from it disappeared. It was pitch dark and I walked slowly back to where I came out from the portal - walking in opposite the direction. I reached a wall and touched it - suddenly the lights turned on and everything became much clearer. There was a note on the floor and I picked it up and started reading for myself. “The module is somewhere hidden in this library. Its obtained by finding clues. You’ll need a weapon, if you pick the wrong book - a beast will spawn and you have to kill it. The first clue is: emptiness, darkness and endless - but still alive.” I looked around and found a decorative double-scythe. “I’ll name you - The Literary Edge!”
