    • Did pewds got hacked?

      +1

      Hey guys,
I saw this comment on one of pewds newest vids:

I saw this post also by some other video's of other creators. They comment this exact comment beneath their video. It's basically a scam, so don't click on it.

Please like this post so there is a better change of pewds seeing this.

    • It's not really PewDiePie's account - if you click on the user name it takes you to their channel, where you can see the accounts REAL name is p3Wdiepie. I saw those posts as well. At first thought it was Peewds but when I clicked on the link, Norton started doing virus alerts and saying the site in the link was trying to download a virus on my computer...that's when I went back and clicked on the username and realized it WAS NOT PewDiePie, but rather someone else with a slight misspelling of the username and at a first glance looks like PewDiePie by isn't. They even went and used his icons and header to try to fool us.

This same comment has appeared on EVERY PewDiePie video for about a month now. It's a link to a virus .ex download, so if you see it, don't click it! Report it to YouTube instead.
    • Nope; a lot of channels that are well known are cloned and then automatically comment (I believe it's automatic) these "competitions" or "click here to claim your surprise" with a link which then downloads a virus of some sort. It will only be Pewds if the little tick is next to his name, but still be careful because YouTubers are getting hacked left right and centre currently.
