I believe mods can see all that type of activity. I've been an admin of a couple sites before & I could see all that stuff.

Yeah I believe he did the same to mine.. I have a dislike from him on my video as well, I'm on page 4. as well as quite a few dislikes from accounts all created today. but that could be a coincidence. bring him to justice!

Oh, I just realized you can see who liked & disliked. I have a dislike from him too. As well as 2 other people that created accounts today. Also, I just looked at them, they seem to be getting banned. #ThankTheMods

I have dislikes from accounts created today and yesterday...but also some likes from accounts created yesterday and today, so idk. Maybe they are trying to hide giving some likes on videos.

I have likes from accounts made yesterday and today also but it's the fact that that one assassinhair guy has disliked so many videos. I mean 3 out of 4 of us have dislikes from him.. I really hope the mods do look into this or see this thread

I can say that it hurts quite a bit to see so many dislikes coming from users that have no posts and were created in the last two days I'm not saying that my submission was the best and I am more than willing to accept that since I push every day to do better than the last but it just seems fishy. If it isn't people that seem like fake accounts its posters that are currently at the very back of the list which I can see why that might annoy them but there is no need to take it out on the first two pages which is what they all seem to make a habit of doing like we can't see who they are. It would be nice if there was some kind of forced setting that disallowed up/down votes of users with no posts and maybe even disallowing if they only have one or two posts even. That way even if they want to be jerks they at least have to actually engage the community first and not just post a submission, spam downvote everyone, and then disappear off the face of the earth.

Yeah man Like I say i really hope admins take notice...its not fair I also just noticed that MemeKing, Oscar 3170, VestyYT and Eili
have all done the same..you see those 4 people disliking most every post i have seen including mine... it's just sad that people have to do this I wish they would just play fair...

I think my favorite thing still is that some guy named Saif A. Al-Mahameed sent me a message asking how to embed videos and so I was nice and told him how to. Checked this morning and he had disliked my own video and then posted his three separate times in the contest. Like.. really dude? xD

The only downside it seems is that even it they get banned you are still stuck with their downvote so in the end they still win to a degree since assassinhair shows as banned but is still on my dislikes

maybe it will take a minute to update? hopefully? Can an admin please tell us if those downvotes will go away?

Too much ass kissing for these kind of things to be fair anyway, people downvote cause they're salty when people downvote their video instead of judging the actual video. Good luck stopping that lol

People put dislikes on your submissions to lower your chances of winning, aka trolls. Sad that I don't know which one is honest and which one is not.

It's easy to tell some of the dishonest ones. I have like 8 downvotes coming from account that were created in the last couple days and when you check their history the only thing they have done is spam downvote a bunch of videos. Some of them have been banned but you still get to sit with their downvote in on your video which is the only thing that bums me out. You think if they got banned that could be considered null and void.

There are lots of new accounts being created every day at the moment. However I cannot remove the accounts simply because they dislike things. I've removed accounts that have been made by the same user, but this does not affect your like/dislike count.

There are still plenty of submissions that have a posstive like count, so do not chalk it down to people cheating.

We are fully aware of the situation and check the like/dislike count on a lot of the submissions to try and ensure some balance in the competition.

Okay well thank you that clears things up! At least some sort of justice is being implemented. Thanks viscyyy! Still a bummer the like count doesn't change though..

I know, unfortunately there's very little we can do about that as of now, but the last few weeks have taught us that it's something we need to take into consideration and will try to find a solution.
