New Microphone, NEED HELP!

Hey Bro's! Ok so im having a little trouble with my new Gamecom headset with a built in mic!

I plug it into the jack in my new computer and its perfectly fine, but when i go to my friends house and plug in the mic and headset into there propper jacks they are both not recognised and it says no recording device found!

PLEASE ANSWER OR I CANT MAKE ANYMORE VIDEOS!

I don't know what microphone you are using and what brand it is. Just look up drivers + your mic manufacturer + Mic name on google and you should get the proper drivers.

for example , google :

Trust (which is the manufacturer) GTX-910 (which is for example the version/name of the mic) Drivers.

And you should get the proper ones.

Normaly it should work without a driver, maybe it's your soundcard. Whats you pc system? Xp, Vista, 7?

Gamecom 380? 700+ Idk? A little more info would do the world of good..
