My friend who found this CS said that the guy has been working on it over a year.

"Developed by Damascus and Crisosphinx. "The Great Work" is a Custom Story taking place in the Amnesia: TDD universe, with an all-new original storyline. I will be making use of atmosphere and suspense to inflict fear, and detailed texts and dialogue to present an intricate and engaging storyline. Warning: Some of the puzzles are very difficult; they will require knowledge, logic, attention to detail, and great patience. Look forward to the following features: All new models; all new enemies; over seven hours of gameplay; original voice talent; branching storylines; and four completely different endings!"


You are Charles Longden, an archaeologist studying Minneburg, a German castle abandoned due to recent cave-ins. You are sleeping late one morning when you are shaken awake by a tremor running through the castle. There is no sign of your partner, Jane. Where has she gone?


The custom story is HUGE, it is supposed to ~7 hours long depending on your playstyle.

It has been put very much effort into, you will have many great videos about it, you will have a great time playing it.

This custom story was mentioned above, but you should really play the custom story The Great Works. I'm currently watching Raedwulfgamer play it now, and it's spectacular. It's really long; he has about 24 parts to it, and they're all between 14 to 28 minutes. This would really make all the bros happy because I know a lot of us want you to play more Amnesia custom stories, but it will also make you happy because it's long, it has a good storyline, the atmosphere is pretty creepy, and it has new monsters! A great and recent CS that is extremely highly rated and scary is "Fekete Keres". It is hungarian I believe, but there is an english version. It's very very well made!

I saw Pewds likes custom stories, that build the tension, are well made, long and horribly scary with good puzzles. Just like Rain for example. Thats why I want to suggest you this custom story, Pewds. Its everything same that I said before. First time ever when I ragequited Amnesia, was because I was too scared to play this custom story. It also has Easter Eggs about some "celebrities". I hope Pewds and/or bros give this frightening custom story a try. Also, they are planning to do next "part". Its going to be called Fekete Keres: Offer For Purgatory. Moddb has rated Fekete Keres: Black Search to 9.6 points with total votes of 63 at the moment. I hope You enjoy it!

You should really play a cs called ken's nightmare from the bits i've played there are a lot of jumpscares.
