Any tips on attracting Subscribers?

How to attract Viewers > how to attract subscribers.
You might think, well subscribers give an amount of (depending of subscriber activity).
Views in this case also gives you subs, that later gives you views.

1. Entertaining
Be fun! hurrdurr.

2. Play a game thats not on YT yet.
That will give you TONS AND TONS of views, and hopefully a partnership. But only if you are fucken lucky.

3. Be active.
Try to create and upload vids daily.

4. Quality.
Great sound and video quality pleases our senses. Atleast mine.

5. Personal attributes
A sexy voice, for girls - looks gives views. Are you hot and have a sexy voice, your main subbers will be male but you still get alot of views.
Having a accompanying female is GREAT! Especially if she shows up in a vlog. But thats viewwhoring and we have a certain forum user thats pro on viewwhoring.

This is why, people like me get less attention.
The "mainstream games" aint anything for me.
Something i REALLY want to LP right now is Cargo - The Quest For Gravity.
This game is not "popular" but its EXTREMELY good.

Cargo is very interesting, my partner has already done a couple videos on it, definitely worth a play.

I agree with this a lot! This is a big thing that separates most of the very popular youtubers from people trying to get noticed.

Hmm getting big on youtube involves HUUUUUUUUUUUGE luck factor from the beginning, at the moment if you make videos for mainstream games you get accused of copying bigger youtubers, but yeh.

Recently one of the youtubers i watch ran a gamer of the week contest, write a comment and he will check your channel and decide if he wants you in the video, i actually won and gained like 300 subs from it, was really good! So keep an eye out for stuff like that...I'm also featured on another youtubers channel (Robbaz) since he said on twitter; message me and i might put you in my other channels box - Dam lucky!

BUT the main thing about youtube is whether you're having fun whilst making the videos, don't consistently look at your statistics, think they're crap and have that put you down, YT you need patience big time so just make sure you're enjoying yourself in the process

You could try maybe partner up with some one like putting them in your sub box and vise a versa. Could help you boost a bit and you could make new friends and and what not. I know how you feel bro I'm in the same both as you
