Compared to bands like Metallica I thought it was, lol. A lot of people I know bag them for not being a "proper" metal band.

Yes well I'm not much of a Metallica fan lol but it's different on sub-genres so I suppose it can't be compared. BFMV is pretty cool

I guess, yeah. They're one of the few bands who've stuck to the same genre and theme in all their releases.
Wikipedia calls them heavy metal, so I guess that's that. Though the exact genre doesn't really matter. I always thought they were called just metal on Wikipedia.
