    • Well, i know i should try these before posting, but they sounded interesting enough to peak my dull attention, so here are some games that I've decided to share with you, they are all indie and free.

First; Corpse Garden This is a small first person adventure horror game. It takes place in the
mind of a man, who struggles psychologically over terrible events that
ended very badly. He has to talk to the dead to decide whether he
should keep on a messed up life or let go. Edit: Size= 65mb rank: Pending

This is probably the biggest of the 4 games.

Second; The horror game Toward the light I didnt find a description initially, but that just made it more eerie, to quote whats written on the website. "Set depths of the earth, your plight is to escape the vast cavern in
which you have become trapped after a rock fall. Navigating your way
through total darkness, you need to endure the desolate isolation of
being all alone. Will you find the light before your flares run out and
the darkness is left to consume you?" "Best played at night, by yourself, wearing headphones…" - someones comment
Edit: Size= 13.1mb rank: One playthrough, very short 1m-10m, jumpscares 1-2, good for a small adrenaline fix.

      Third; Obsolete "
Cyberspace puzzle shooter in the vein of Rez and System Shock. Run from ICE nodes while rerouteing data streams." Edit: Size=42.3Mb rank: Ask br00tal XD

Lastly; a remake of a game i loved as a kid. Duck Hunted Edit: Size= ignorable rank: interesting time killer

Well, im off to download all these and give'm a shot, dont add any to the list unless someones played them and deemed them worthy, or just wait till i try them, i have high standards.

    • Yea, mostly they are all atmosphere, but i managed to find one that has awesome potential, i died in it like twice. Its more of an "Oh shit" game.

Its called Europa, you wont find it with a Google search so here is the link. 7dfps.org/?projects=europa-concept

*download link for those too lazy like me *

Little warning, your gonna get screwed a lot. like me XD also, if you use the build bot with scrap metal, he will make you bullets, i havent found anything else out cause im busy.

Ill keep my eyes out for any other games that are hiding.

    • Welp, I got motivated and found 10 more games. Haven't tried any yet, as i have a shitty system, but reviews and images are really promising for most, but not great for the last few, in order of worst to best here they are. (Index: Games With a * next to them cost money, if a demo is present it will be linked, otherwise only the website.)

      1) Cube: the game; Based on the movie with the same name, Your in a cube, travel through over 1000 cube rooms and find a way to survive. Edit: apparently i read it wrong, here is a direct quote. "...with 15625 rooms in total, understanding the clues that you gather
is essential. The game will only take about 40-45 minutes to play"
notes: Edit: Tried to play the game.... heard screams, went "NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE" Alt+f4'd like a wimp and it didnt work, so i turned off scream, while i was relaxing the headphones played something really nasty and more screams.... i then shut down my computer.... *Just noticed that in the dark... im a real wimp xD*
      • File Size: 15.5 Mbs
      • GM Version: GM7
      • Vista Compatible: yes
      • Screen Resolution: 800 x 600.
      • Changes Screen Resolution: No, but does appear in scaled full screen (mouse look won't work otherwise)
      2) Larva mortus ; A simple game, which i must say, i played through all the way for reasons beyond me, not really horror for anyone older than 16, but when i played it at night it had its spine tingling moments. Includes; Armada of unholy creatures, over a dozen weapons, interesting plot. Rank: Time well spent. Size: 51.5Mb (50mb for current download, extra 1.5mb is for patch *here *)

*3) Home ; "Home is a unique horror adventure set in a beautifully-realized pixel
world. It’s a murder mystery with a twist—because you decide what
ultimately happens." -As stated on the website. Havent played this yet, but screenies make me hope i can run it XD its a pixled based game, 2D and has interesting reviews.

*4) Alpha Polaris ; “The heart of the game is its restrained horror setting. It allows
us to explore a wide range of human themes in a realistic way: paranoia,
isolation, friendship, love and so on. To us, that is the core of a
      good horror adventure.”
      -project leader Teemu Vilén.
      Notes:

      • Intel P4 or AMD Athlon 64 processor
      • 1GB system memory
      • Graphics card with DirectX 9 support
      • 1280*800 display resolution
      • 700MB hard disk space
      5) Anchorhead ; Text based horror game based on lovecraft's works, something i believe can still influence people other than just eyecandy and audio\visual jumpscares, because as lovecrafts says; "The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown." -H.P. Lovecraft

      6) The stairwell; (Note: this game has nothing to do with SCP087-B and the famous game by Haversine, although based on it, it has its own storyline and take on the entire thing) This game contains a prologue and more interesting objects on the stairway. Things on the stairway happen randomly, so you can play again after the first time adding to re-playability yay.
Notes: just visit the link, i couldnt get the link directly cause you need to sign up to get the game, Its indiedb so im sure most of us have an account there anyway. XD

*7) Enola; "Enola is a horror/adventure game about serial killings. You're an
unnamed character (maybe a person?) in a desolate island. There you will
visit different locations, solve puzzles and find clues to uncover
mysteries about such serial killings" -Quoted from summary page of indiedb, im just too lazy atm. got to write more fanfic, gimme a break XD

8} Wages of darkness ; " A top secret experimental military facility has a primary power
failure. Marina, a plucky young soldier, wakes up in the middle of the
crisis, injured and disoriented by the absolute darkness. Recalling her
training, she must make it to the Shelter before her commanders invoke
protocol 13. Along her way she uncovers clues about the fate of the
facility as she grapples with her own evanescing sense of self. " -Random forum i found with download link game doesnt look awesome, but it won some sort of competition so yea, it must.

These last 2 games are not out yet, but they look pretty awesome. Since there is a lack of info from the general public and i dont really take the authors word on his own work, here are the link and the names, enjoy.

      9) Stasis

      10) Amoung the sleep ; Well, from what i read, THIS, is extremely interesting, you play as a 2 year old, in his shoes, in a graphically stunning horror game... check the link, you be the judge.

Once more, Please, if anyone plays any of these as i cant myself, comment here, tell me if its worth the time, any general notes you'd like to include, and how long you played it.

    • Just random indie websites, there are a whole bucket-load of other games that I'd never try, lemme get you the links.

      FreeIndieGam.es

mostly, the others i found googling, i dont actually know how i find this stuff, people just say i achieved Google mastery or something XD

thats the only thing i found in my browser, it has like 32 pages of indie games, not horror, and i already got all horror games worth mentioning from there, sadly, I've got no history of todays browsing, i was in private browsing and i only saved the links as bookmarks, so no direct link to the main website. If i find it, ill link it here.

EDIT: Okey, going back to download cube the game, i noticed that yoyo games have some nice horror games, imma post a couple so i give you guys the chance to see the whole 19 PAGES of games XD lots are WIP, with great potential, this will give you guys a good fix, if you want the fps horror games, go there yourself and search it. :3

      1) Grunthouse: A somewhat incomplete game, along the lines of amnesia, your chassed by a grunt, low graphics not bad, its not complete though, so dont expect miracles.

      2) Mystery ; Its an a Mr.E.

      3) Dehinged Mind ; "Formerly known as Test Subject Alpha. A first person horror game. Download the game and review the readme before playing. " -authors comments
