For those who are confused, this game consists of canon and non-canon chapters. For now, the intro with naomi crying is canon to the original game's true end and the 2 chapters pewds has played are non-canon.
This is because these two chapters are actually things occured after one of the wrong end of the original game where satoshi made a wrong decision and got them send back in time to the day before it all happened. Basicly a time loop. This is why all the characters were alive however only satoshi remembered the things that happened and he tried to stop them from performing the ritual but failed.
Therefore they went back to heavenly host again. but this time since some of them remember some scenes(e.g naomi remembers seiko dying and mayu remembers her being smack on a wall) they tried to change their fate but only resulting in a more horrible death.
BOS will has more non-canon chapters but will end with a canon chapter which directly ties in with the true end of the first game and will lead to the sequel corpse party blood drive which was released in 2014 on PSV. Hope pewds will play that game in the future
