Hi Pewds!

I love what you do and I love Corpse Party. I actually got so into the game after your first episode that I played it for myself, and, without spoiling anything, I think that you probably shouldn't consider this game as a sequel to the first one, but more as a compilation of "bonus chapter", and here is why :

First, none of Book of Shadows' normal chapters follows the true ending from Corpse Party (unlike the oppening cutscene, wich does).

Secondly, the different chapters do not follow each other. Actually, most of them don't even happen in the same universe : Some of them show events that happen after or during some of Corpse Party's wrong end (like those first two). Some others take place before the first game. Others seem to take place during it.

Finally, several chapters focus on secondary character from Corpse Party rather than the first game's heros.


If you wish to see what follows Corpse Party true ending, you will have to play the secret heighth chapter, unlocked by finishing all chapters and seeing every wrong end.

I also would like to recommand you (if you have the time) to watch again your playthrough of the first game, along with some of the wrong ends you missed, since you seem confused about who did or didn't die (both Seiko and Mayu did).

It took me way too long to get this, but the markings that Mayu, Nana and Seiko have, they are scars from their previous cause of death. The students were all transported back to this school, to be given the illusion of a second chance. When, in fact, they were all destined to die from the beginning and their scars show how they die and how they will die again. Seiko has a scar around her neck in part 1. She dies by hanging or by her neck getting sliced by a piano wire. Mayu has markings on her belly. She dies by getting splattered on the wall or getting her organs plucked out by ghosts. Nana has scars on her thighs. She dies by getting her legs chopped off by Yoshikazu. They all died before, their death is inevitable.

Pewds, i played both corpse party games and the voice acting is awsome some even scare you so im kinda pissed off because i know the video would be much better with voice acting, i love the corpse party series but without the voice acting its not as scary. Here is how both of us can be happy put on the voice acting and u can voice act their thoughts plus kizami s voice is so freaking scary and i want u to experiance the fullest of the game. I think im speaking for the majority here_ PUT THE VA ON!!!

Why do people keep asking for Pewds to turn on the voice acting? Pewds doing it himself is great and funny.

I love you,Pewds, but please stop pronouncing words incorrectly on purpose. I understand it's supposed to be for comedic effect, but I'm finding it kind of annoying. Also, this let's play is fucking awesome!

Pewds, I made an account just to join in with everyone else practically spamming this forum for you turn on the Japanese voice acting for the next chapters! There is nothing wrong with your voices, but the original voices recorded are there for a reason; and surely if they were as well done as the voices in the first game, then they'll be amazing in Book of Shadows!

Other than that, hurrah to almost 3 hours of Corpse Party!

Pewds, you are mistaking Mayu for Yuka, the little girl who didn't pee in the first one. And you keep thinking that Yoshiki is her brother Satoshi.

Hey Pewds,
don't know if you remember, but in the first CP, Morishige was the one who took pictures of the splatter on the wall (Mayu) and would keep looking at it, finding it fascinating. Mayu's desire that Morishige would find her body and find it "pretty" was somewhat fulfilled (ew >.<)
