      but i think pewdie didn't understand what book of shadows is about because in my opinion he looked confused at the beginning, for example when he said they wanted to troll us when they made us think mayu was the splattered body in the first game. Book of shadows is the sequel of a BAD ending from the first game (that pewds didn't get if i remember correctly) where

      after performing the sachiko ritual uncorrectly, time goes back to the day before the events of the story, but satoshi is the only one who "remembers" the future (that's why he was so upset in the first episode of BoS, he tried to warn his friends but they didn't believe him). Then, when they get into Heavenly Host elementary the others start to "remember" too, like Naomi in the first episode


      So, if you think about it, book of shadows isn't really a proper sequel for the first game since it's not based on the real game...
      But still, it's really good :D

      Corpse Party: Book of Shadows mostly plays as a prequel, continuing from one of the wrong end in last series, where Sachiko Shinozaki(the girl in red dress) sends all of the Kisaragi Academy students back a day before they perform the ritual, erasing their memories except for Satoshi Mochida(main dude). He tries, in vain, to dissuade his classmates from performing the magic ritual(again), but fail, so he joins them to see if he could save everyone this time . The game is divided into eight lengthy vignettes....

      And the one who has waited forever to go to pee in last series was Satoshi's sister,Yuka(girl with pink hair band), not Mayu(penis head you said)
      Also, those red marks remember? i suppose those are indicating the way they died before/are going to die, coz it always said fate cannot be changed, so for those who died last time would die again no matter what, in similar but different way

    • I really love this game and it's so much fun to see pewds play it.
      I don't really mind that there's no voice acting even tho I really liked it. I guess there'd be too much of the voice acting and nothing for pewds to say inbetween since there are more sequences than in the first one (or at least it seems like there are more)

      Also Mayu inexplicably has 2 corpses. Naomi sees the original from the first game and Morishige sees the..."new" one. Oh, and if you thought it couldn't get worse, wait until chapter 5 when you get a full description.

      AND YES MAYU IS DEAD MAYU IS VERY DEAD, SHE DIED IN THE FIRST GAME, SHE DIES AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN SHE'S THAT GIANT SPLATTER ON THE WALL NOBODY IS TROLLING YOU.

      Also Mayu is not Yuka. You're getting them mixed up.

      And Mayu is in the drama club so she knows a thing or two about theatre.

      And no, you didn't hear Shinozaki in the beginning. And Shinozaki is a girl fyi.

      Mayu doesn't remember anything because she died.

      And Morishige is an outsanding actor.

      MORISHIGE IS NOT A GRADE A DOUCHE HE'S A GENTLEMAN. THE REASON HE WAS TAKING PICTURES OF CORPSES IS BECAUSE HE GOT TAKEN OVER BY THE DARKENING REALLY FAST.

      ONCE AGAIN, MORISHIGE IS NOT EVIL.

      Some name tags have very useful information.

      You know that piece of paper Mayu picked up from the ghost that she helped? She used that to get Ryou away so she wouldn't get killed.

      Ayumi and Yoshiki have deja vu.

      Yoshiki is an ex-thug pretty much.

      Mayu has that bruise on her stomach and Nana on her legs just like Seiko had that one on her neck. It's basically marking how they're gonna die.

      The voice in the bathroom that yells "SHUT THE GODDAMN DOOR" comes from a gentleman ghost named Takaomi Shimoda who made friends with Nana, Nari and Chihaya in one of the Corpse Party extra chapters.

      The song in the music box is called "Shangri-La", the same song as the first Corpse Party opening.

      If your Darkening Meter gets to 100% it will be a game over. If fills when you see dead bodies or other things that disturb your character. It fills faster for some characters than others, for example it will fill much faster for Yuka than for Tohko.

      Miki is Yoshiki's little sister. She's the only person in his family who cares about him. He was disowned by his parents.

      Cute lil' fact: Mayu is 5'0" and Morishige is 5'10" but Mayu is 2 months older than him. Morishige is actually the youngest out of all his friends, but also the tallest and most mature. (Yoshiki is the oldest in case you were wondering)

    • Thanks for playing this Pewds, I'm reallly sorry that you had to replay it several times because you missed something, I hope that doesn't make you abandon the series.
      Anyway, This game is an extended version of the last one, they went back in time because of a mistake and they slightly remember things from the last time. But Sachiko is having fun and killling them in a worse way than last time.
      For those of you who don't understand, Mayu died in the beginning, so did nana, but their bodies were "reconstructed" by Sachiko, as part of her plan to have fun and kill them again. That's why they had bruises in the spots where they had been injured. They were eventually going to die and deteriorate, but Sachiko made sure to kill them the way she'd like.
      I just wanted to clear out that this game is ALMOST A VISUAL NOVEL, so there's lots of reading and little gameplay. prepare to read a lot, and be bored at times, because it's a NOVEL, a book. I encourage everyone to keep reading until the end.
      I don't know if Pewds didn't read the comments asking for the original voice acting, or he forgot to turn them one before playing the game, but I hope he turns them on next time. (although I think there's only 15% chance of that happening)

    • I really liked the first game you did. Nice voice acting and it keeps interesting cause of the short episodes.
      But now you removed both :/ It's not as fun without voice acting and 3 hours is kind of too long. There are no cliff hangers like this.
      Maybe try something else in episode 3? D:

    • I am playing Book of Shadows myself and I think it´s really great, a lot of reading though but still stunning! The atmosphere is scary as hell but you´ll need the voice acting to get the most of the game because it´s those who makes the game scary especially in 3D-sounds with headphones on! Even though I play it myself I miss Pewdes commenting the game and see his reaktions so I watch his episodes either way.
      Pewdes, hope you get the real voice acting in next episode so you and the bros can enjoy the game at the most, I promise you all it will be so much better! Still a great job you´re doing and look forward to the next episode, BroFist!!

    • I am so happy I can't even explain. Today is my birthday and I was waiting for more corpse party for so long. And now it is here. On my birthday. I haven't even watched it yet but it is coprse party so doesn't matter. Thank you pewds. I love you so much. ^^

    • I would like to talk about my opinion about bros who prefer the japanese voice acting over Pewdie's voice acting.

      I, myself, personally prefer the japanese voice acting in the first Corpse Party since it was more intense. But Corpse Party: Book of Shadows is a Visual Novel Game which doesn't contain much own ''playthrough'' instead, a lot of text, as he mentioned at the beginning. So, I consider Pewdie using his own voice acting since it's also very entertaining to listen and he himself is enjoying it.

      Anyway, another amazing video! Keep it up Pooooods!
