Many peeps in Japan wear masks, including me.. heh... Bikers are the ones usually wearing masks, not ill people XD. That soup tho, That looks bad but tastes good ._. Also, Did Pewds go to Tokyo Tower? As in, the top? It looks very majestic up there! You can see the whole Tokyo itself. And the Tower, itself changes colors every night(ex. Rainbow, blue, yellow, etc.) also, rarely, it has charactersin it(ex. Hello Kitty, Sonic, etc.)

Pewds i'm sorry you got the flu, it's spreading around right now in Japan so ya. And those cars were campaign cars for the election that just ended. As a japanese person I have to say that it's the most annoying thing ever, like our government is shit anyways it doesn't really matter who runs it. Sorry you had some bad experiences in japan but I hope you enjoyed some of the time you spent here.

Here's a quick breakdown of the places you visited:

Not sure which park you tried to go to that would be closed at the beginning… I believe the one that you saw outside of the hotel was Meiji Shrine (Meiji Jingu) which is sort of set within Yoyogi Park. It’s such a huge park; I’ve never actually heard of it being closed before. Unless you went over to Gyoen Park--sometimes they do close that one.

@4:00 - This is a display of sheep for the new year at Awata Shrine. 2015 is the year of the ram.

@4:30 - These are some art displays for the Hoshino Art Gallery.

@4:39 - The large toori gate that leads into Heian Shrine.

@4:47 - The vans with the loud speakers are politicians trying to get votes in the national election, which was on the 14th. They are very super annoying.

@5:07 - Kyoto Museum of Art

@6:43 - It’s cream corn soup with chunks of corn in it. It’s actually very good, as you found out! Sometimes people get it just to hold on to when it’s cold. Those suckers can be really hot.

@8:23 - Looks like you got to Heian Shrine (Heian Jingu). I don’t recall if I’ve ever been there myself, though. There are just too many shrines in Kyoto, although this is quite an important one to see. xD

Actually that's a corn soup,it's very common that Japan had many unique vending machine one of them sells hot drink stuffs too.But It's good right,since you had flu,it made you better.
