That's really bad that you got sick when you get the chance to move somewhere you wanted too but at least i hope you were able to still enjoy it and that you'll get better soon. Thank you though for having taking the time to film and share those moment with everyone you always are that amazing and that really was bad luck that had to fall on you on that but you will have other chance to enjoy other journey even if that one might have looked a litter bitter because of the sickness you still got the best of it. I hope that your better now.

Those annoying announcements are for an election. That's how they advertise themselves for mayor usually in Japan. They also speak in formal language so that it is more likely for people to vote for them. I think they announce it so much because they want people to remember their names so they repeat it over and over again and they drill it into people's brains:D Lol.
