Fruits Basket, I loved that one! Watched the anime first and then I decided to read the manga. (And I do prefer the manga, since it tells more of what happened after, if you know what I mean?)
And I'm usually not bothered at all by the lack of colors in manga. I think the story and all the beautiful drawings are making up for it.
