    • What If Outlast was Co-op?

Just a thought, Those who seen Pewdie play Outlast and it's DLC.
What IF it was a Co-op...I don't know much on game makings and such but just the thought of it would be so cool i thought.
The makers one day make a demo Co-Op i could see Cryoatic and Pewdipie playing it together //WHEEZES//
((Seems like a game they'd play together-when you think of Cry of Fear Co-op))

Pewdie and Cry: //GETTING CHASED BY MONSTER//
      Pewdie: HIDE CRY HIDE!!!!!!
      Cry: FOLLOW THE BLOODDDDDD!!
Pewdie: //HIDES IN THE LOCKER/ YOU IDIOT HIDEEEEE//SCREECHES/
Cry: THE BLOOD LEADS TO VICTORY FRIENDDD//RUNS OFF/ #YOLO
Pewdie: AHKDJDKFDJK //GETS OUT AND MONSTER IS GONE// YOU ASSHOLE YOU LEFT MEEEE XDDDD
      Cry: MA-MONSTERRRRRRRR!!!!!

That would be so funny to watch...please outlast one day make this happen :saint:
Any thoughts on these thoughts? XD

    • I think it'd be pretty good last long series too at that XD hehehehe
      YAYYY //BROFISTS//

at this moment i wonder if the outlast creator's even had the thought cross their mind to make it multilayer or even a G-mod for it o.o ((people make Mod's of anything now these days after all))
    • A co-op mode for Outlast would ruin the game.
Not that i dont like the Idea of Pewds and Cry getting scared as fuck, but that wont happen in a co-op horror game.
      Because its not scary anymore.

Outlast is just great how it is, there is nothing to change ^^
    • Well it's not really like an idea to change the game like another side story of it that could happen that could be an add on for fun to be Co-op ya'no? An Add on piece. If it were possible i could see it being like same story still just not traveling alone in the game kinda thing doing the investigation-or even in the DLC being an escaped patient.

I can't really imagine any other way to change the game really to make it a Co-op but leaving it the same as it is just in that mode would be cool to see them do ((thought had came from watching them play Cry of Fear)) xD
    • No, I don't think it will happen. Because both players must rush to pick up BATTERIES (when the morning gone, and you can't go on batteries). Ok, back to the topic. and both players cannot defend themselves by running and hiding, because the monster will got 'em.
      BERZEKER *brofist*
    • IT be interesting you could attack in the game if it'd be co-op
i can see if it were like to ever happen it'd be that side story maybe both play as escaped prisoner/patients is how it'd be like probably. It'd be very challenging especially since it's a big place but that probably would make a challenge for the game, trying to not loose your partner, being chased and needing batteries at the same time scary or even less scary it'd be like...more adventurous!
It's definitely not changing much of the game its more like something you can see happening. the patients/prisoners are already violent so having that be there no change. Escaping is the goal and it's just going to be two with each other so it's not much just more challenging! I honestly think maybe even more people would want to play outlast even more because it'd be great funny scary fun with someone maybe xD
    • tbh Outlast's gameplay and storyline just do not fit for a multi-player purpose. It would make it a no-sense game and there would be so many things to change and modify that i would hardly look like outlast anymore. Also, if you are talking about the normal outlast, it just wouldn't be that interesting since we all know already its story very well.
    • They are, in fact, but can also be something that offer more items, skills or whatever in a game(Like Skyrim, just for example). But they can't change a game's "gameplay". Turning Outlast into a Left 4 Dead (Horror Game, meant to simply run and get scared, into a shooter, where you actually need teamplay, strategy etc) would be like turning pokemon into a Cat Mario. What's the sense there?
