    • v13.1 fixes any new problems found with v13. Like the random cat appearing again and the corruption of saves when you die.

    • well, lasttime i played it, there was supposed to be a cat coming out of one of the bathroom's toiltet doors. the game bugged and the cat acted like it has a afterburner in his err... pipe..... and flew around the whole bathroom for a whole hour before it finally flew out the door.... so.. yeeaaah... the game is buggy and there is a English patch for it but i suggest not to play it unless you love fucked up bugs and crashes.

      what i think about the game? : :thumbdown: :thumbup: (half part bad and half part ok)

      Apart from that everything is fine in the game. Its something which can't be fixed and the english patch of Unnamed is way better then the engrish patch , I doubt that you even played further then that cat :V

      I fixed this game up :rolleyes:. There is no cat anymore.
      Hasn't been since v2. Well, it came back in v13, but it's gone for good now in v13.1 :P

      I need a better internet provider... I get about 60kbps upload speed and 160kbps - 260kbps download speed >.>
      v13.1 has almost uploaded, but I'm guessing there's still another hour or so to go.

    • I'm guessing Pewdie won't be playing this then ... It's a shame, most people find this game really scary.
      But that's all good, I didn't think he would get around to playing this game anyway :D

      I will be releasing a v14 soon (not v13.2 because this next update is reasonably big). I hope to fix a ton load of bugs here.

    • Big big update for White Day v14. This will wipe out most bugs, I mean like a ton of them (almost none :D ... I hope).
      I will also be going over the translation entirely and all the scripts to correct all mistakes I have made. Dialogue will make a lot more sense and it will be possible to work out all of the plot from notes etc.

      There is also a new set of instructions to install it (even easier). Unfortunately this update may cause corruption of save files, so I recommend you stick with v13.1 until you have completed the game!

If you are going to ever be playing White Day (It doesn't seem like you will be... but nevertheless I honestly don't mind, it's your choice completely), I just wanted to recommend waiting for v14. If you were to play it, the story would make a lot more sense and there would be almost no bugs you would have to deal with :)

      Personally, I think this would be a great let's play. There are some seriously unnerving scenes and game-play throughout this game (especially in Chapter 2!) Plus, it's a game where you have to make choices in dialogue and actions (not dramatic choices, but y'know. They're there).

      But again, that's just my personal view on it, and something for you to have decided.

      Akk, a shame... :P On the topic of being scared by ghosts in White Day, I hope you don't mind me using this post as an opportunity to share something about my findings. Findings concerning the 'rumours' that White Day was patched for being too scary:

      There were several name changes for White Day during it's development, they are as follows:
      1. White Day
      2. White Day: Ghost School (sometimes with "on the 13th of March" at the end)
      3. Blood Festival (or "White Day: Blood Festival")
      4. White Day: A Labyrinth Named School

      1 - Was during the initial plans and discussions between the developers to create the game.
      2 - Was a free Beta version of the game made in 2000, released later on - I actually managed to find it and put it up for download here.
      3 - Was when the game was at the beta testing stage. Also when the game wasn't patched for being too scary. This release of the game was never given out.
      4 - Was when the game was actually released, the scare patches were added on the initial release (1.00).

      Although Blood Festival was never given out and was patched for scariness later on, I found that in White Day: A Labyrinth Named School all the scripts, sounds and textures for those extra scares were still there - they were merely disabled.

      Here are some pictures of some of the ghosts that were removed:

      These two ^ I found browsing Korean sites. I think they must have put them in the game somehow, or this is the original Blood Festival version.



      These ^ are texture's in the game files. Some of these are characters mentioned in the School Ghost Stories notes (Yeong-mi - right, Na-hyae - left).


      It looks to me like they weren't kidding around when it was too scary, especially for 2001. It's like the scratching face ghost, but loads of them and they all do completely different things to scare the sh*t out of you!

      These are some of the scenes that might have been included in Blood Festival, played using the Console:

      Another thing, there's a White Day wiki up. I definitely recommend taking a look if you're interested in how White Day's plot works. Confusing, but surprisingly logical :huh:, bearing in mind the Wiki is hardly finished at all.
