Pewds was kinda lazy this week

    • Pewds was kinda lazy this week

      Before getting all the fandom hate pls read
      In this week we hae in resume:

      -1 only funny video (the cop one)
      -2 shitty video about stupid flash games
      -1 animation video (1,25 and that still counts as a video :thumbdown: )
      -facerig (again)
      -a song+ no more video today

      What about sunset overdrive, that he say that the game was pretty cool? ||
      What about the evil within that he was so excited to play since the demo? ||
      All this week was deception , false hopes at least if you want to stop a lets play, tell us like this we won't have false hopes everyday X/
      pls pewds take 1 week rest if you want but when you return start to play some real games and not video that take 5 min long that became annoying
      sry for the hate but people have to stop licking is butt everytime or he will think he can unfinish his playthrough when he wants, we have to get angry sometimes :/

      He also deserves a little holiday/break. What we see as a 5-10 minute video takes half a day to produce.
      I didn't love his videos this week either, but I prefer when he does something because he wants to then because he feels like he has to. It improves the quality of the video.

    • I'm sorry to say, but: spoken like a true Youtube commenter. You get YT videos too seriously. You also think that just because you don't like them, then it's all going to shit. Without mentioning that when he doesn't continue his playthroughs, it's because the developers forbid it, usually because it hasn't been released worldwide yet or some other reason (remember Alien Isolation). So yeah, you might wanna get off youtube from time to time and see that there's more stuff to be mad at than this. And also, please don't tell us what to like and not like/ get angry, don't get angry. I have far more important things to do than getting angry because you are. On a sidenote, I actually think that he's becoming more and more funny with these little games (opinion that probably doesn't have any weigh for you).

      There are 31 million subscribers to the channel now... Obviously, Pewds have to make fun videos for everyone. Now... here's the trick. Not everybody like what you do!
      Maybe you thought this week was not funny... but for somebody else, it may be the best week ever!

      So, here's some tip to what to do! Don't get Pewds channel that serious! It's just one channel among a lot of others! Subscribe to another channels and don't watch Pewds videos if you don't like to.
      You obviously don't like Face Rig... Wich i agree with you! I don't like it that much either
      So I don't watch it! I watch something else! Another channel or something.

      Constructive critics are always welcome, I guess... That's what make things better. But also, take the videos as entertainment! :D

      i don't say pewds was getting unfunnier its more the playthrough that he don't finish that makes me angry (Watch dogs, Fatal frame,kingdom hearts..) i prefer that he choose a game that he will be SURE to finish it than just take a game, play like 3 days and never touch it again
      and its not because of develloper forbid that he don't continue its playthrough because we have youtubers like cinnamontoastken, or nova who have almost finish the game he is just lazy to continue it because he don't like the game anymore

      Sabiapril i agree with that i prefer that he takes holiday for like 1 week than making videos of 2 min and count it as one of the 2 videos of the day (like the new one that just he just release 1 hour ago...)

      i don't want to start a comment wars im just giving my opinion about someone work and i think this week videos was kinda lame thats all ?(

      Well, until he decides to upload some gameplay videos, you can either watch his oldies (I do that quite often, tbh, I miss the good ol' Stephano days) or you can watch Ken or other youtubers :)
      I understand your "pain" bro, I felt the exact same with the Walking Dead series.

      Do you expect him to put hours into a game he doesn't enjoy? I can guarantee that will translate into his commentary leading to a not up-to-par video. That's not fun for both us and him. I get where you're coming from, though there's no realistic solution here so I guess you'll have to deal with it :/

He's human and he well deserves a break, so if he doesn't post 20 minutes of a game every week, we have no right to complain, he works himself to bones for us. Lets be more considerate bros. He has a life, sometimes he needs to focus on that. Like he said, he doesn't want to be a slave to Youtube, it has to be fun for him too. We can't be so selfish.       Well, I actually just started watching Ken because I feel the same way as RebornMania, and I actually quite like him, and the way he does his videos. If you don't watch Ken already, I suggest you do!!

      Still watching Pewdiepie of course, but you know, it used to take me 20+ minutes at least, now it takes me 10 min. max :(

      Well you know, at least letting us know why he's playing other games rather than just stopping a series he started would be nice.

      Sometimes It may seem easy, but he's got to put loads of hours into it:
      • find good games,
      • install and setup games,
      • play the games,
      • pick 5,10-20 minutes of out if sometimes hours long footage,
      • stitch together and edit the whole thing
      • socialize with people online
      • probably more...
      RWJ used to put up 2 videos a week, Pewds does 2 a day. I'm not really taking a side here, I neither agree nor disagree with any of the comments. I don't watch all of his videos, but he's had "boring" ones before (or should I say ones that I find boring) - it's impossible to be everything for everyone, especially when you have to mass-produce videos like that. It's not the first, nor the last time you'll see lazy weeks, he's entitled to them, and you're not obligated to watch anyways - just accept it and move on.

      I wasn't going to reply, but sometimes he reads these comments and feels pressured when he really shouldn't. Tbh I would be more concerned about his mental and physical health, trust me when I say that staying in front of a computer screen for so long can be extremely exhausting.

      Agreed. I didn't really like his videos the past week either, but completely satisfying 30 million people... well almost 40 million now... is ridiculous to ask from someone. That's about as much people as a small country, and since when has any ruler been able to completely satisfy a country? I hope he doesn't feel too much stress... honestly I wouldn't blame him if he took a week off to relax: 2 videos a day is a lot. O.O

      And... he can't unfinish (*not finish, actually) his playthrough? Last time I checked, he was the one who bothered to do them in the first place.

    • I'm not hating but I have never really understood this mentality? Pewds is giving us and has given us hours and hours of completely free entertainment without asking for anything in return. We, as fans, have no right whatsoever to make demands of him or get frustrated by his content/videos.

      It's like complaining that you didn't find that one episode of Big Bang Theory funny or getting a free lunch and then complaining because you didn't like it.

      Sometimes I think people need to take everything less seriously - if you like something great, if you don't that's fine too but I think it's pretty unfair to say Pewds has been 'lazy' this week. He still pumps out a lot of videos and just because they aren't to some people's tastes I don't think that's a reason to complain about him personally or his attitude towards his videos etc.

      The thing is he can stop playing any time he wants to because it's his channel and it's his choice what he plays. If he decides to stop a play through he doesn't owe anything to anybody.

      Again, not trying to hate but I just think we all need to be a bit more grateful for what is effectively free entertainment.

      We made him what he is now, how can you say that just because its his channel he can stop the game he wants like nothing happend ?(
      What about us? What about what we want? pewds have to listen to us more look all the unfinished games he done, its almost the same amount of finished playthrough, pewds its human ok right im fine with that, but at least we want more communication from him about it X/

    • It is apparent that someone here is overanalyzing Pewds latest production. It's like a factory line making Coke bottles with an annoying supervisor standing behind a worker, superficially micro-managing everything just to seem important. Why don't we just overanalyze EVERY person's weekly contributions in the world in their respective professions?! Isn't it enough that there are specific audiences that overanalyze each and every entertainment industry, where every single action undertaken by every single person is scrutinized and compared ad nauseum? I recognize the fact that people who put themselves out there are performers for a crowd, YET they are people with good days and bad days. To be honest, focusing so much on these people's inner working of why this and why that is para-masturbatory, irrationally rigid and just plain rude.Why judge whether Pewds is up to snuff on anyone else's scale of performance. It's not a good thing to turn him into the typical entertainment industry "Performer" like this. He's Pewds, a regular bro like (most) of us. He's ours to enjoy, not to tear down. Let mainstream media fanboys handle that. He is doing what he wants in his life, we are lucky he is offering us a window into that life. FFS isn't that what we all claim to appreciate the most here?
