Basically Forums emphasize pretty much every subject, and content that you normally post on Blogs are often posted on Forums.

Actually no, blogs are really different. They're your own little space which can be a diary, or interest-focused, creative, etc, and all your stuff is there in one place and somewhat "owned" by you rather than spread across various forums that pertain to specific subject posts. It's mostly considered bad forum etiquette to treat such places like your own personal blog, because they are very different beasts. Forums, at the end of the day, are temporary shitposting no matter how "important" your posts might want to get. All those ~meaningful~ posts I made on the Myspace philospohy forum - gone when the forums closed. Go look at many Wordpress (or other blog site) entries and very little of it is suitable nor in place on a forum. A blog is dedication.

And contrary to popular opinion, blogging is not dead. It just went back to what it was before the boom and all the trenders now have their dumbed-down tumblrs for the detritus. The serious blogs and blog sites are still strong and populated

I kinda agree.

There are Forums pretty much for everything, even for what you write in blogs, even though your blog is considered your "safe heaven", people , eventually, will read it.
This is just my opinion

I can link some forums with heavy emotional writing.
