The thing is in a cesarean birth you cut the skin horizontally but you should cut the muscle underneath vertically (the direction of the fibers), If you cut them them horizontally then the muscles are more likely to tear later. Also those newborn babies are too pretty. Newborns look skinny, red and wrinkled. I have to admit I hated the ob-gyn rotation I did in school. But having had a C-section the first time I gave birth, I know something about those.
