Hey! In this video in particular (I've noticed this happening with other of his vids) it's specially all the random "kawaii" music stuff
I think it's cute but it's a bit overused.
The video where I think this overuse of editing/effects is more noticeable is the last montage, I think editing is fine as long as it doesn't interrupt the actual video or becomes anti-climatic.

Again it's just my opinion, I just prefer some more "raw" material. I find it funnier and more spontaneous.

I do agree to a point. I like the Kawaii outbursts because most of the time it suits the situation so well haha. But aside from that, I can see what you mean by not really being all that organic. The comedy style at least. He is still incredibly funny, it just gets to "The funny part" too quickly, rather than leading into it with a little bit of context. Unlike the full playthroughs like Alien etc, where it's practically one huge take aside from the few mistakes or double backs he has to take because he has no idea what the hell he is doing. XD

I just don't find these more comical videos as funny as I use to, but that really doesn't change my opinion on Pewds. He's still great and hilarious.
I've spent whole afternoons doing The Walking Dead or Dark Souls marathons, maybe I just prefer his playthroughs. I did get quite disappointed with the "Funny Montage #3" though

Montage #3 I have a sneaking suspicion that he was rushed whilst doing it. Pewds, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong (lol) but it seemed a lot more dry.
