Hey, Pewds. Gotta say I'm loving your playthrough of the game. A couple things I thought I'd mention, though. I'm not sure if you're paying attention during the loading screens, but I've noticed that they provide helpful tips, and one such tip, that sprinting should be used as a last resort (as it is noisy and can draw unwanted attention) you seemed to be frequently flying in the face of. I don't think that you'll ever be able to outrun the alien, and that clanging noise is only going to draw it to you. I did notice that you've picked up the blueprints for a pipe bomb, and that might serve you better against Ugly than your revolver (won't likely kill it, but it may drive it off and give you some breathing room). If you don't have the parts to make it yet, you could try tossing the flashbang in its face, that might disorient it long enough for you to duck into one of the "hold to hide" closets unnoticed. Word of warning, though, the programmers have stated that this creature is as clever as the one from the first movie, so a tactic that works against it once will quickly lose its effectiveness in later encounters.

Should you make it out of this area and enter an area with hostile humans present, you could use the alien's instinct to kill to your advantage. Just take one of your noisemakers and toss it into their midst, then let the lured-in alien do your dirty work for you (just don't stick around in plain view to watch unless you wish to join them.)

I wouldn't quite trust those "buttholes" myself. One thing I've learned from the movies is that it often used those vents to get around, and by judging what happened to Ripley's first trigger-happy companion I'd say that's an aspect they kept in this game.

Everytime Pewds sprints I'm like cringing. Pewds, don't sprint because it attracts the monster. That's why he gets to you so fast. Only sprint when you absolutely need to, not to go somewhere quickly when you don't really need to go there quickly. Keep up the series! I love it!

I was just thinking that playing this would be epic on the Oculus, but as scared as you seem to be playing this on a monitor Pewds it might be much worse for you on the Oculus (might even inspire a bowel movement). Still, if I had one I would try it at least once (at least until my first heart attack). In any event, just keep calm and soldier on, and when worst comes to worst there's always kitten time.

pewds try not to run so much, it attracts a lot of the alien's attention -- mostly sound and movement attracts it's attention. goodluck
