    • Why is it only ok for certain people to spam links?

Just a thought. I mean I did it once and got chewed out.
Yet other people who are more well received by the community do it and nobody says a word.
Am I the only person who finds this really fucked up?
Instead of hating and rashing for this post, look at it from my perspective.
Everyone seems nice, friendly, talking about being bros.
Post one fuckin' link and you get hashed out about spamming.
Yet someone does the same fuckin' thing and people lick their bawlz or ignore it.
      Bro, my ass.

**excludes pewdiepie. He's the pewdieest. Plus I mean, fuck. It's his forum he can do whatever he wants**

    • Spamming any link isn't ok for anyone to do. There may be a tendency to be more strict with newer people to the forum, as they are seen as having less understanding about the rules to the forum whereas longer members are more respected in that others know they won't spam it, but for either the rule should be respected. It keeps the Shoutbox looking nice and everyone happy :)
    • Fully understandable, It's just annoying and somewhat frustrating to get chewed out by multiple people at once like I'm a douchebag for doing it, then see three people spam livestream links with not a word said about it what so ever. If rules bend, they break, right? I don't want anyone to be offended. I come here to have fun, shout nonsense and have funny conversations. I guess it just kinda took me off guard. But on another note, I don't understand how that logic works. If someone has been here a while and has a better understanding of the rules, and intentionally breaks them and it gets ignored what does that say about the enforcement of the rules on this forum? That's like letting old people commit crimes because they're old. Which isn't fair at all. I understand the mods can do whatever the fuck they want but whoever deliberately picks favorites and disciplines people who mean well just to prove a point or feel good about themselves, well that's just fucked up and makes the mod in question a huge douche for abuse what tiny bit of power he has over an online forum. That is the truth. There is no question of that. There is no debate. Rules are rules and they apply to everyone *except the owner(s) of the site*.

I'm all for respecting the rules of the forums, I just think more effort should be taken into enforcing it on "everyone".
That would set a better example then yelling at the new people.

I was speaking in terms of how people view the situation, not on whether it's necessarily right or not. It'd be the same as how a baby is disciplined when it makes a mistake so that it doesn't make the mistake again, but an adult isn't disciplined after making the same mistake because it's inferred that the adult knows the rules and won't repeatedly make that same mistake.

In the context of the forum, you're right. Both should be treated equally, and I'm sorry that you got chewed out. The admins/mods who enforce the rule have done the same to a lot of other users who've made the same mistake, and repeated neglect of minding the rules can get very frustrating for them at times.

Adhere to the rules as everyone else will. Those who don't will be dealt with, if not immediately, then as soon as possible. Try not to take it personally as it definitely wasn't directed AT you personally. We're all bros :)
