Removing a youtube channel

Hello
I would like to remove an empty channel of mine and recreate it at a later date. The point of this is so that the date of creation of the channel will be a bit different.
The problem is that I can't find a "Remove Channel\Account\Whatever" button on Youtube.
Halp?

Go to youtube.com/account and right under your name click on advance, there you will see a button to delete your youtube account.
If you have a google + linked the youtube channel you will need to unlink or delete that g+ profile.

Just a fair warning though!

If you want the same name, DO NOT DELETE. You cannot get your channel name back. Once a name is chosen, it can never be chosen again. I learned this by trying to use a channel name that apparently didn't have an existing channel, but it was unavailable--I found out that it was because someone had chosen the name in the past and deleted the channel.

oh, thanks for the warning. i did want the same name... just make it so that i've started recently...

I can understand wanting your channel to reflect better on your video releases, but if you do want you keep your name, you unfortunately have to deal with the your creation date.

I'm glad I took the time to warn you, though! Would have been terrible if you deleted and found out you couldn't choose the same name.
