I'm really digging Star Wars the Old Republic mainly cause it's very story driven and also you get to chose the outcome of various quests , very restrictive in some ways although it's free.

I like Mortal Online and Archeage.

Mortal online is hardcore sandbox MMO if you're interested in *no quests* and no class levels, and just straight up sandbox, high learning curve, and you LOSE ALL YOUR THINGS IF YOU GET KILLED. But, if you like playing with a large group of friends you could try to kill other players out in the wilderness and take their stuff! Again: STEEP LEARNING CURVE. Though I did like exploring!


Archeage : Brand new MMORPG for North America and EU that came out from Korea, Publisher is TRION WORLDS -- the creators of RIFT. Has a patron option , Free to play players can do everything but own land, and sell at the auction house (but you can buy an auction house scroll and purchase it from the auction house for like 1 gold which is easy to get! or you can buy it for 150 gems which is premium currency.) Has MANY MANY MANY things to do, questline to 50, and you can trade, player driven economy, best items in the game are crafted by players and not dropped by bosses, You can sail the seven seas, have a fleet, discover underwater treasure be a PIRATE, and much much more! ( Like building castles and creating YOUR OWN FACTIONS!) Awesome game for sure.
