Well most pop songs these days aren't that good and are generally annoying. And although i like the kpop/khiphop genre, I hate a lot of songs there too.
Tried getting into metal and screamo stuff cause of some friends but I can never really appreciate it.

Not a fan of generic rap. Some of the mainstream stuff on the radio is pretty unbearable too.

My most hated music...probably would be any sort of "mainstream" music, the stuff you'd repeatedly hear on most popular radio stations. Others include: Dubstep (with some exceptions), metal, screamo, rap, country, folk, opera and classical. Those are just the ones i can think off the top of my head.

I absolutley cannot stand anything mainstream. Real music doen't play on your stupid radio stations. All hip hop ever talks about it sex, money, and swag. Thats it. Occasionally a song will have an okay beat, but then the lyrics come and fuck it all up. Plus, the whole autotune thing is really annoying, if you sound bad singing in your normal voice, why did you become an artist in the first place? Autotune just makes you sound like a dying frog -.- Then there is dubstep... Kill. Me. Now. Thats not even music, just a repetitive noise. The only place any repetitive annoying noise is good for would be an old school video game. I can handle some of the older techno with a really great drop, but this is just getting rediculous.

Why can't people listen to songs that have a coherent meaning? Something that speaks to you, lyrics that you never want to forget because they MEAN something. Music with real instruments and real people singing? Music is a simple joy that everyone should enjoy, something that makes you want to hold a lighter in the air and sing to your hearts content. The instrumentals alone should make you like the song, but the lyrics should be perfectly in sync with the tune. Music lifts you from where you are and takes you far away. This mainstream crap doen't do that.

Awwww... my favorite band plays on radio stations sometimes. Okay then. It's not "real music", I guess.

I hate rap and all his sub genres

Typical dubstep, some mainstream hip hop, JPOP (some few are actually good but the rest isn't), KPOP, christian country, some trouse (trance + house), so-called "pop" these days (that Justin guy, that blackass women and the rest of the gang), experimental minimalism (silence for fucking 4 hours with fading baby screams :|, some aphex twin songs (they actually give me nightmares). other than that, everything else is good, like this actually mainstream house, savant dubstep, UK garage, this is fucking embarrassing but i actually like some VOCALOID songs and 80s pop like Never Gonna Give You Up (I'm fucking serious )

To be honest I don't hate any music. Even JB's stuff. I don't -like- JB, but if I hear one of his songs I WILL listen, and try and pick out what the producer was thinking. Honestly I admire the guy who does production for JB, he's a pretty down to earth producer.

Lol I was always made fun of for liking DEV and Katy Perry. Commercial shit aside, I thought in the dark was a great song.

luzix I agree about AT, some of his songs are downright frightening. Gotta love IDM tho =)
