I record with Mirillis Action. Everything works great in Sony Vegas the audio is fine except when I put the footage in Powerdirector I can only hear the gameplay audio without my microphone....why is that and how can I fix it? Thanks.

I have old audio USB capture device that if I don’t have the sound profile properly set, It won’t record any audio.
What I have to do when I use it, is to go to…
Start > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Audio "(I then set both record and playback to “USB Device”) "> Voice "(I then set both record and playback to “USB Device”)"
And now my audio mic works fine.
I don’t know if this will also apply to or help you, but another thing that always catches people out on PD is outdated drivers. Check your drivers such as your output/input audio ones and others automatically here:
intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect
If none of these work still, it may be the audio codec/format. Some .avi or .wmv files are not compatible with PD, and occasionally the odd .flv. Try converting the video/audio format depending on the current one. Use a free internet tool to do this if you don't a software that does this. -
I couldn't follow your instructions since the names you have given are not like that, at least in Win7.
