Hey!


So I recently got an elgato(I would recommend it. It's high quality and compatible for both xbox and ps3) and I'm planning on doing the last of us and sleeping dogs for my channel. Btw if you have any games, preferably on the play station, that you think would be great to record let me know! Also I'm a small YouTube channel and I'm sure a lot of you smaller YouTubers know what it's like and how hard it is to get noticed :/. Anyways for as long as I can remember I've been using camtasia to edit my videos. My new computer came with cyberlink power director so I've been using that as well, however the quality always comes out shitty when I produce it. This goes for both camtasia and power director. I recorded the first episode of sleeping dogs and the recording was 720p so I know it can't be the elgato.
I really need a good editing program if I wanna grow my channel. Also I'm not very good with camtasia or power director so I could just be me not knowing how to use it. So if anyone could help me out whether it be an editing program suggestion or a way to improve the quality for camtasia or power director any help is much appreciated.

I'm sorta on a budget and Vegas pro is great but it's at a price that is too much for me. Any ideas of a cheaper or free program that is still good?

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I think I might as well save up some money for Vegas and figure out my current programs. But I dunno.
