Hi , I know that Gmod needs valve games but I wanted to know what games are required or is it just half life 2 ??? ?(

Garry's Mod is a Standalone Game, you don't need any for it to run.
Of Course, if you want ALL the Textures, Models etc., you'd need Half Life 2, Episodes 1 and 2, Portal Games and Counter Strike: Source.
But Gmod itself can be run without any extra games.Watch my Melon Self play Game Stuffs
