Gameplay recording and editing PC

Hey!

I'm looking for a good pc to do some gaming, gameplay recording with fraps and editing the recorded footage. Budget is somewhere around 800€-1000€, and i would make it from parts. Can anyone suggest any parts for the setup?

If you havn't done so already, I suggest you ask the same question on some hardware forums, they're specialised in this stuff.

Edit: This is the most reccomended build for last month on a dutch tech website. It doesn't really matter if you don't understand what it says, the component names are the same.

The best place to chose a custom pc based on your budget is either ibuypower.com or maingear.com

You can choose every component you want piece by piece or they have pre-build models based on your tastes and what you need out of your PC.

Ibuypower doesn't ship internationally, am i right? I haft to take a look at the other one.

Have fun with your new computer, if you end up getting one.
I built a computer for the first time a few weeks ago. I thought it'd be a hassle, but it's actually quite easy and fun to do!

You will need two harddrives. One for games and one for recording/writing. If its only 1 drive, you will encounter drops in game performance.

I would say get one SSD and one HDD, but then again, you might run out of space with games. For me, I went with a 1 TB HDD for games and 2 TB HDD for recording (I also got a 2 TB external HD to store additional RAWs im not done with) .Monitor, of course get a 1080p one so you dont have to deal with black bars.

I spent about 980 USD on my comp.. but then factor in additional harddrive, mic, webcam, a new monitor, external harddrive .. lets say about 1500usd ;s.
