Am I the only one that wonder where Pewds gets his ideas for the thumbnails he makes? Like he makes a thumbnail for each video and there's so many videos on his channel.

He does a great job photoshopping his face onto stuff. He googles whatever he is playing or whatever his character is doing, finds a good high quality image and photoshops his face on it. For example, he used this image in one of his thumbnails:
