already moving away from sanic and such bullshit, making a more serious game, a horror "FPS" kinda.
taking a part of the "unique romance between man and machine no not chobits get that shit out of your head." and wrapping it with 420% "horror porn with bats and shit" and a dash of sci-fi is what void is... well targeting for. being in a team of close friends working on this shit is great, while sanic was all solo.
the shitty setting: The year is unknown but fucking far away from where we are, snow and shit is everywhere, a girl (that we haven't settled on name yet, so we call her for "anna" now) you meet helps you exploring the giant ruins of a ship in the middle of nowhere, she might be seen as a sweet cherish girl but things gets darker and darker as the adventure continues into the deepest depths of the wreckage.
its planned to have a portal-like feeling into it.
the rest of the setting of the plot is mostly up to Oblivion, A IRL close friend of mine and a good music producer.
Display Spoiler
The game will be running at 720p by default with FXAA3Console AA and certain post-processing effects as bloom and minimum motion blur.
The settings are targeted at the mid-end PC market, where laptops with Nvidia chips and AMD chips are ruling. The game will fuck up on Intel.
It can change resolution up to 4K.
Noise grain will contribute to the graphics quality to make it feel more "darker"
Most of the game is coded under UnityScript (JS) with some bits of C#
It might use a motion capturing device such as Kinect for some cinematic parts.
No QTE, no HUD, don't know where to go? Press N key to get a path arrow.
since we kinda recently started making this piece of shit, heres a crappy screenshot from a development build:
if you dont see the screenshot, i blame the internet provider Get.
i'll be keep updating this as the development continues.
