Also, are you talking about hero's tail/Enter the Dragonfly or TLOS Spyro series? Either way I kinda liked HT/ETD, they were just really rushed, and I haven't played TLOS so I can't really say anything about it, but I've heard great things about it and wanna play it.

Either way it's all better than skylanders.

Did you hear that Sony is "very interested and open minded towards revisiting old games that were a big part of a lot of people's childhood and bringing them back in new games on the PS4" (Specifically Crash and Spyro)
and the president of Insomniac says he "Loves how activision has made Spyro relevant in the modern gaming world and introduced him to a new generation" And when asked if Insomniac would ever be interested in doing another Spyro in the style of the original trilogy "We'd like that. I've learned to never say never," which contrasts greatly to what he said in 2000/2001 that "Spyro is no longer really relevant as a character in the gaming world. He can't hold a gun, we don't think there's really all that much we can do with him"

Essentially he dropped spyro because he figured there wasn't a lot to be done, and he didn't really have a relevant audience in the direction games seemed to be heading. He sees that Activision made it so that people know the name spyro and that it's clear he is relevant in modern gaming (Note, he did NOT say he liked his role in skylanders, the design or skylanders itself) and is essentially open to developing a new spyro game in the style of the originals, should sony or activision approach them.

So let's look at it all summed up
-Sony wants to make new spyro in the style of the originals
-Insomniac wants to make a new spyro in the style of the originals
-Activision wants money.

It's UNLIKELY that Activision would sell the license to spyro, BUT it is however WITHIN THE REALM OF POSSIBILITY that they may allow them to make a new spyro provided it is clearly separate/distinct from skylanders and Activision receives royalties from it.

Altogether, I think that makes for a pretty good chance that new spyro, not skylanders "spyro", is coming, and will in fact be a PS4 exclusive.

Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2 and Year of the Dragon, they were all amaazing I loved them so much. I got very obsessed with dragons after I started playing those games.



Huuuh wow really? I did play Hero's Tail, Enter the Dragonfly and all of the TLOS series and even though they werent as good as the original (obviously) I still enjoyed playing them a lot. I would be really excited for a new spyro game! Skylanders I never even tried because it looks... well meh... Not too good.

That would be final fantasy VII and VIII for me. Soul Calibur too. Sonic, because well. xD
And of course Dragon Quest.
Then there is also Silent Hill that I loved but oh gosh how it corrupted my mind. Became quite addicted to horror from then.

Never owned a PS1 so it's hard to say from my limited played games lol.

Tenchu: Stealth Assassins, but Tenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins. is not far behind ♥♥♥ (The only reason Tenchu beast Tenchu 2 in my mind is because I am more attached to the first one since I have been playing it since I was about 5 and only got Tenchu 2 on my PSP about a year ago. ♥ but I do think the first Tenchu need to be remade with a few more levels this gen graphics and Tatsumaru mode for beating the game with the highest rank (grandmaster) on every level. ♥ *SPOILERS* For the people who have played Tenchu 2 and know Tatsumaru kills himself to make up for his crimes I was thinking it would be more like an Easter egg of: "What if he lived" But even though the re-make will never happen I think it could reboot series and give them the money they need to end the series with the game they kinda foreshadowed in the hidden ending of Shadow Assassins where Ayame appears to have been possessed by Onikage. ♥)

Best Ps1 game is Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, hands down.
