If anyone's having trouble playing Outlast with the motion blur, here's a way to remove it.
I have not yet had chance to test this but apparently it works. (PS. I dunno if this is the correct place for this thread to go but I just thought I'd post it to try and help some people

How to remove Motion Blur
Go to the folder where you installed the game (C:\Users\xxxx\Documents\My Games\Outlast\OLGame\Config by default) and find “OLSystemSettings.ini” and then change these ...
MotionBlur=True
MotionBlurPause=True
MotionBlurSkinning=1
Change to the following.
MotionBlur=False
MotionBlurPause=False
MotionBlurSkinning=0
