Considering buying the Oculus Rift

Title says it all

Im thinking about buying the Oculus Rift and making videos but im not 100%

Should I buy it now and go for it or wait for the final completed version with little to no bugs and a larger variety of games?

I would definitely wait until the consumer one comes out.

I was reading a lot about the process that the developers are going through to fix bugs and fine tune everything. They even said that it would be worth the wait.

I know that they are aiming for a lower price on the consumer version, and possibly making it free by adding it to console bundles. Not sure which one they will end up doing. But whatever they do, it will be better than paying $300 for something that's not completely finished.

I agree, I've had the money 3 times to buy it and every time I can't do it.. consumer version will be much better and 1080p. Every bone in my body wants to play TF2 in virtual reality but at the end of the day, $300 is a lot for an unfinished product.

Yeah I guess you guys are right

I was 50/50 on it earlier in the day and came really close to buying it but I stopped myself

I think you guys are right, better to play with little to no problems and enjoy it than encounter bugs and glitches mid game

My issue with it is if I buy now I won't get until the end of October and then I'll be kicking myself for not waiting for the consumer version. But I desperately wanna get one and start doing videos with it especially horror games as a lot of people have modded support for it into games by now
