I had a messed up sleeping pattern once; just waited till the next day, drank an energy drink and made myself crash - woke up fine, went to sleep the same time without it. Just getting your body used to a routine and into a sleeping pattern.

When I'm experiencing this is what I do:
1. Close my eyes, inhale to your stomach, not to your lungs then exhale sloooowly.
2. Listen to a low volume music when doing #1.
3. Try stretching your muscles. Maybe your body doesn't want to sleep yet. Let these muscles relax and let them tell your mind to sleep.
4. If these don't work, try talking to God. maybe he'll clear your mind always.
