Hey guys, my names Dean, I'm from England and I'm 17, I recently started this channel, I think back around last September, and I had a lot of fun recording random stuff! Started off with things like Half-Life, and random games really... I started doing Far Cry 3 videos and they seem to be what my viewers wanted, to I shifted towards those kinda games, I go on things like ARMA 2 Wasteland and Battlefield 3 with some of my college friends too At the moment I have I think 1227 subs and I've been told I make people laugh (I don't listen to them, they are crazy )

I upload at least 5 videos per week. Mostly gaming but from time to time sketch comedies or whatever I decide.


The reason I want to enter this contest just like everyone else is to get noticed. I absolutely love being on youtube and wouldn't trade it for anything in the whole world! My friends are always supporting me and It makes me feel awesome. I love reading the few comments I get and hearing that people love my stuff. Its a blast but, I have barely cracked 200 subs and 100 videos, I have been going on youtube for over 4 months. Its really hard to watch younger channels grow faster then me, even if they don't put out very good quality.

Summary (I'll try to be brief but damn this is important business!)


Who am I? Well my name is Jamie and I'm from the UK and am 25 years old. I started YouTubing in 2011 because I thought it would help with my anxiety disorders and depression, and it surely has!
I have gained a moderate following (7,000 subs) (alot of dead accounts though sadly) throughout this time and I am engaging with my fan's regularly because honestly, they are what make this whole thing worth it. It's their support that has helped me with these mental ailments and I am forever grateful for it.

What I'm hoping is to further my audience, I reply to almost every comment and I definitely read them all... I would love to wake up some morning with the 301+ view bug and a bunch of comments to read through and reply too. It would be such an amazing feeling.


My channel focuses on Lets Plays, mostly Horror as you can guess because a) I actually do enjoy playing Horrors, I was a massive fan of the old Resident Evil series. But I don't strictly stick to horror, I play whatever tickles my fancy.

My fans often compare me to TobyGames and you (Pewdiepie), sometimes I have to deal with the whole "copycat" drama but I usually just sarcastically respond to such comments. Heh ^_^

Anyway, if I was chosen for this, I know it would change my life dramatically, I don't have much right now and YouTube is what I love doing and I wish I could spend more time doing it (I do about a video every other day, but I used to do 2 a day but it was getting me worn out). Like you, I do everything myself, thumbnails, recording, editing, descriptions, annotations (those things are a pain!)

In these vlogs, I upload challenges (saltine cracker challenge, cinnamon challenge, etc.), rants about anything (school, people, etc.), question and answer videos, and more! I love to interact with my fans. I did have a small little week off of videos on my channel a while back, but that's because I was on vacation.
