The Future of Technology, A New Hope...

    • Something I heard a few years back, might be a load of bs but who knows. I heard that it is possible to do teleportation already but the amount of data that it would use would need such a big speed that it would take a really long time to teleport someone. As I said, who knows whether it is true or not :)

I read scientists are actually working on a TELEPORTATION Device! I don't think it's gonna work, but hey, if it does, Fak yea!

Flying Cars sounds awesome, but we need some Flux Capacitor stuffs in there ;)

Well technically it works. But they don't give us hope yet, because they still can't figure out how to prevent the head and the butt switch during the teleporting process :3
On the outside I may appear like an emotionless sarcastic piece of shit, but just like an onion, when you peel off more layers, you find the exact same thing every single time and you start crying.

If the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off!

This video came out a couple of years ago. It gives me hope for the games of the future. INFINITE pixels. no latency? *gasp* No way.
They tend to go quiet after a presentation... Suspense...So I guess we just wait and hope.
Holy Jesus if that actually exists, Imagine those Graphics on an Oculus Rift = Ultimate Realism?

    • The future is an exciting place to imagine!

I honestly think we'll see the early versions of things like full VR, life extension, personal 3D printer (and with it a huge blow to factory manufacturing) and open source projects within the next 25 years.

Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Baldur's Gate, Shadowrun Returns and more!

I know right? Sword art online for reals. Then the next level of gaming would be to plug your brain into a game like the matrix... would be nuts.
May we not lose our breath during times we wish to endure.
    • Woh! Mind = Blown! That company seems to good to be true..! If they are fully legitimate though, that will be a phenomenal addition to the graphics industry!

Also, (I guess this is technology related) but scientists have said that the first person to live to as old as 1000 years could already be alive today. They say this could be possible due to the research and breakthroughs such as the Stem Cells. For those that don't know, our body makes these things called stem cells which are generic cells that do not perform a specific job. From what I understand, these cells are the building blocks to make any cells within your body and unlike any other cells can renew themselves and duplicate themselves many times over. This means if we develop the technology to fully utilise this, we can inject stem cells into any aging part of the body to mend it and get it back into working order.

There are also many implants that can work just aswell as the real version. However, the main problem, even with stem cells, is that our brain ages and once that has gone we are dead..! It isn't so simple to fix our brains and I think that scientists have said that even if we did use stem cells, there is currently a huge likely of loss of function within the brain and has a definite chance for loss of memory as the memory stored within a dieing cell won't be transferred to the new stem cell so chance is, the person that lives to 1000 years old may not remember the majority of his life unless it is stored outside of the brain (Paper, PC, etc)...!

Cool to think about but there are still to many issues with most of these groundbreaking technological ideas/inventions. :(
