  • Best video editor?

Well,i made a couple of gaming videos on my iPhone and i want to turn them into something better.I really need a video editor(on a PC) that can do the following:

-Add music or soundtracks, regardless if the video if longer or shorter then the song/soundtrack

-Speed up the video(i want to post it like that on youtube,2x speed up)

    -No Windows Movie Maker please

-I dont mind if it is paid :P

    Thanks in advance bros
  • I recommend Fraps to record (if you haven't already got it) and then if you want to pay 700 dollars then get Sony Vegas Pro 12. You should get Camtasia Studio 8 Crack cos it is also a good screen recorder and also free!!!

Adobe: After Effects CS6, the difficult one but the best one I started editing with Sony Vegas Pro but then I changed to After Effects just because you can improve so much more in your video's way better!

After effects for video editing/ music editing is the worst idea. Go with premiere or sony vegas (since money is not a problem for you, right?)
But if you indeed want to put for some unknown reason top-notch effect but still be able to cut -kinda- normally , choose Hitfilm Ultimate
<--- Oh, you hate me son?
  • Simple

    Real life videos=Adobe After Effects
Gaming on Xbox 360 or PS3= Sony Vegas or Adobe Premier Pro CS6
Sony Vegas= More user friendly for people just starting out (still amazing with editing and the detail editing you can do)
Premier CS6= More advanced and not so user friendly (for the more advanced detail editing with more tools)

IMO go with Sony Vegas Pro because it offers easy to learn tools and the editing is amazing and so is the layout. Premier is imo more sloppy than anything. I use it but prefer Sony Vegas over Premier.

This is propably the worst adviese ever. Crack cheap recording software and buy expensive software that he doesnt even know what it does.

If you dont know what the features included in pro version are or what they do, you dont need them. Buy Sony movie studio instead, costs 150$, more or less and you will have solid program to edit videos with for long time.
  • Best Editor.

    Hello my name is Dann,

I find your post interesting actually as I have been editing since I was 11 years old (almost 7 years ago). Over my time I have used many different programs such as Windows Movie Maker, Sony Vegas, Adobe After Effects, Pinnacle Studios and a lot of other editors that aren't so known. Now, I'm going to try to not be so biased but here's how I feel about the top 2 editors I have used.

    Sony Vegas:

    PROS:
It's easy to understand when you have used an editor before. You can easily add plugins and control what effects or transitions go where. It's a professional editor so it CAN be used to do all of the things you listed. The shortcuts are easy to remember and understandable. People who are on the 'newer' side to editing will very easily be impressed by what they can manage to create in this editor.

    CONS:
It'll be pretty laggy if your computer can't support the software but that's the typical case with any major editing software. It's hard to swap between different windows when you're editing and it doesn't have too many options when it comes to 3D but what it has is still cool. Rendered files take up a LOT of space.

    Adobe After Effects:

    PROS:
Amazing software. It can be used to create so many awesome things that will impress your friends. Plugins are simple to add and there are many awesome free templates available online. The program is easy to control and if for any reason it ever crashes it'll save EVERYTHING automatically to save you from worrying. 3D text is amazing on it for intros / outros. Can render 1080p videos with files under 300MB easily (requires a certain render format).

    CONS:
Its pricetag is $1000. It's difficult to understand if you're a beginner. It'll be very difficult to create your own incredible imagery when you first begin. It can be very laggy when rendering.

I hope this in some way helps you!

  • My name is Karlo, i have been editing for 4 years now. I am using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. It's a great program for pros and newbies. Even Pewds is using it! If you need a tutorial or help, send me message.

    My computer:
    CPU: Inel Core 2 Duo
Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce 630 2GB
    Mother Board: MSI G41M - P 28
    HDD: 140 GB
    Case: I made it.
    Monitor: Philips
    Keyboard: Genius Gaming Keyboard
    Mouse: I don't know. Logitech i think.

So, my computer isn't ultra-super-duper gaming computer, but it's fast! It's a cheap gaming computer and i like it. Crysis 3 is 50/60 FPS. So, if you need help with making a cheap gaming computer contact me.
  • Sony Vegas is probably the best choice. Its not free but it isn't difficult to find it free if you don't mind that. Try it out on trial first maybe, see whether its worth it. I believe you can get 30 days free trial when I looked last time.

    Hope this helped. :)
