Start to feel dizzy as if I'm going to faint. Close eyes concentrating while it kept getting colder and colder around...or so I thought* Do not fail me on this one. I swear if you can't win after this... *pant* ...then you're hopeless... *chuckle still holing on to Kin's neck* Curse you boy, it will take days to recover after this... But never mind.       Kin struggled with all his might against the grip that seemed almost fused to his neck. His new power was backfiring, taking every bit of Rea's power, far too much to handle at one point. He couldn't blink away, his concentration was too shaky to pull it off.
      Barely aware of his surroundings with an iron grip on his neck, Kin was only just aware of two other people, the puppet master and someone else, the second guy in quite a bind.

      In desperation, Kin shot stone shards at Leon, hoping that it would seperate them and gain him much needed assistance.
      When he turned his attention back to Rea, there was an odd look in his eyes.
      "You don't, ngh, understand...! I had no *Koff!* C-choice!"

      Kin's struggles were starting to get weaker, it was all he could do to keep from passing out at this point.

      You know, most people call me insane...
      That's what happens when I try to reason with people, they don't like it, and I eventually end up turning them to charcoal in the end...

We all have choice. This way or that way. *frown and pressurize him to speak just as the cops do* That's not an answer pal! You said "He promised" before... Who's he? Who ordered you to do all this? For how long? And why do you think you don't have a choice? *look at him decisively* If you decide to co-operate right here and right now, you might just get a jail sentence instead of us crushing you.       Kin sat up, looking around and seeing himself surrounded. He sighed. Whatever the police girl did to him, he was exhausted.

      "He... Gave me this power... Promised me something else.... Told me to get an important item... And then..."
      He looked up to the one who was being controlled.

      "I didn't want to hurt anyone! The officer, he got in my way... I had to break into his head or everything would've been ruined! I didn't know he'd kill himself!"
      Kin tried to stand, but instantly fell to his knees, looking very sick.

      "No... Not now... Please... I still need to..."
      Before Kin finished, he was cut off by the fact he was now retching, coughing up a little red stone onto the floor, which dissolved.

      "All I wanted... Was to bring her back..."
      Were the last words he said before finally passing out, collapsing face-first on the floor.

He's down. *try not to feel bad because of anything, but the weakness towards "something" that looked like a kid turned into the anger* What the hell everything that he said meant?! What is going on here. *get up too fast and end up sitting on the floor again* Who...who's "he"? *look at Kin again* You idiot... Was this the best decision you could make?
      *look around the room confused and exhausted* I don't even...*fall asleep leaning on the wall after almost 48 hours of not sleeping. Thoughts of being in danger and being weak while sleeping were still there. But the fatigue was way stronger*

      I walk over to Rea-
      Hmph. Just needs rest. No serious injuries, it looks like.
      -i pick her up snd start walking to a safe place, my apartment, for her to recover at.
      I lock the door to keep out any unwelcome visitors.
      I give her my bed and wait for her to wake up, after bandaging her wounds-

    • *have a really bad dream about my past and everything that happened and soon violently wake up somewhere else and not my apartment, not knowing for how long I slept. Feel the tears running down my face because of the dream* What the... *quickly wipe them off and look around* Where in the hell is this place? *try to get up, but the wound on my hip started to ache so I was forced to get back to bed* Son of a... *See it's all wrapped up in bandages. Look around now really confused and yell out managing to find my gun and point it towards the door* Hello? Anyone in here? ...Hello? Show yourself!

    • Alden had paid no attention to any of the others, and had been on his knees apparently inspecting the red liquid that was previously a stone.
      "Somehow, I don't think it's a coincidence the kid happened to cough this up when he did..."
      He said to nobody in particular.

      Grabbing a glass vial conveniently located on a crate nearby, gathering as much of the red liquid as he could before it evaporated away.
      No doubt it would be corrupted by god knows what from the floor, and he was unable to gather much, but hopefully it would be enough to identify.

      By the time he stood, the others seemed to be gone, or were beginning to leave.
      "Curious. And perhaps a little bit familiar... Why is that?"

      He left the warehouse, and with a strong beat of his wings, took to the skies. In ten minute's time, he was back at Fuse's apartment.
      "You're early."
      Came the voice of Alden's old friend, from, naturally, behind a locked door.
      "Yeah, well..."
      "You never get back early unless you're either bored or need me for something. Which one is it?"

      The fox-man sighed.
      "I have something I need you to inspect."
      "By inspect, you mean see if it's safe, or find out what the hell it is?"
      "Both."
      "Fair enough, pass it through."

      Several sounds of the locks on Fuse's door met Alden's ears, and the door opened a crack. He put his hand through the crack, and felt the vial being snatched away.
      "I'll have a look at it. I doubt I'll have immediate results, but you never know."
      "Alright, old friend, I'll see you in the morning."
      "Going to bed early, never a good sign with you. What happened to passing out at Four A.M?"
      "Oh shut up. The tournament's tomorrow."
