Help! Is my computer not playable?

  • This LAptop is pre-built by Windows, and it's a Windows 8, so therefore, hell yes this can be used for other games. In a Customer review of this paticular model, one man said:

"It can handle every task I throw at it. It can handle Skyrim on High with minimum lag. Handles HD videos with ease, can handle editing program. I've used it for gaming and for school work and this can do it all. Highly recommended. Only complaint is NUM lock doesn't have a LED"

If you don't know anything about building your own computer, this is a pretty good alternative. But the battery life is pretty short, so if you consider it, getting a PC for gaming specifically that has similar specs would be the better investment/choice, rather than having to charge it every now and then and/or charging the laptop constantly.

  • HP Pavilions, and especially the G-Series perform perfectly fine when it gets to gaming.

But I'd save up for a tower as laptops usually last max. 2-3yrs, and excessive gaming use will make the period even shorter.
I had a dv7 for 14 Months, it overheated and just didn't work anymore, laptops like these aren't meant for gaming, but if you plan on only playing
MC, Spore and such, it'd be fine.
    Brofist.
