Strange sh*t going on with Windows

Sooooo.. I have windows 7 on my laptop and everything was working perfectly.. Until yesterday morning. I turned on my laptop (it was on sleep mode) and suddenly everything was so slow.. I couldn't open anything. And every time I turned it off and on again it was worse. I was sure it was a virus, and I still think it was. Then I did the dskchk. That totally crashed my system.
Then I installed windows again. That fixed it for 10 minutes and it was slow again. Then I decided to format my hard drive (using cmd) and install clean windows.
When it finished it loaded and everything was slow AGAIN but now in a different way. It was normal for 5 minutes and than lagging for 5 minutes over and over again.
And again, every time i turned the computer off and on again it was slower. Now I can't even turn it on (partly because I ran chkdsk again). It is just stuck in the Welcome screen. Even Safe mode is lagging hard.

So do anyone has any idea? Isn't that a weird behavior?

No , I haven't dropped it, I didn't do anything, I just turned it on.
Actually I am suspicious about hard drive problem because I turned on the laptop 5 minutes ago and it works fine (in safe mode).
It is cold now, I will wait to see when it heats up a bit..

And btw, I have 4 GB ram (I think it should be enough :D).

It's either that or something may be wrong with your drivers, which is the most likely cause.You should probably update them as problems can happen from outdated specs.
If you really can't figure out anything that causes it, get a professional or someone you trust and know on PC Tech to see if there are any physical problems with the laptop by opening it up, if there's any dust or fluid leakage.

It's either that or something may be wrong with your drivers, which is the most likely cause.You should probably update them as problems can happen from outdated specs.

I am almost-a-professional and I understand hardware and software. Anyway I managed to fix it, i ran SFC command (system file check) and there was a lot of errors, 7 I think. Now it still laggs sometimes but it is rarely.

And btw drivers could be a problem because when windows crashed it reported a ci.dll error and that file is responsable for drivers handling. You might be right.
Anyway thanks for help.

And NO, I won't buy a new computer

Chance is that the temporary lag spikes you are getting rarely now, may be from overheating if the drivers aren't an issue. You will find that overheating is a pretty common thing in laptops and this means that as they age they will drag a substantial amount. I know with my brothers laptop, after about 10 minutes of it being on now, it Overheats somehow, causing it to go extremely laggy as the heat makes all the components say "F*** this! It's to hot to work!" xD lol. But simple fix is keep it off your lap and keep air inlets and outlets clear.

Hope this can fix that last little piece of the puzzle

Thats if your laptop can run fast enough to load up the puzzle
