  • "No I don't hate it..." Icy repeated in his mind his face red as an apple. "Why can't I sAY THAT!?" Icy repeated in his mind the redness still rubbing on him. "N-N-N-N-N-" He stuttered rubbing his eyes. He gazed back up at Celsius, not looking away from them.

Luna jump as Aska appeared and giggled. "Sorry I didn't see you there Aska..." she said looking forward again and listening to his facts. "Ah, I never knew that...but why would they attack Sahrah like that...what was the purpose for it?" She said glaring to other people.

Kor could only watch as the great flames consumed the angel's body, not even a scream of agony as it's flesh was burnt away. By the time the inferno ended, the being was little more than a charred piece of meat. Shakily, the half-demon stood to his feet, taking care not to put much weight on his injured leg as he limped over to the winged being, taking off his helmet. He stared down at the sizzling corpse, fists clenching as he saw it twitch ever so slightly; for all intents and purposes it was already dead, but this was still unacceptable.

Vision turning red, Kor grabbed hold of the other, more demonic blade in his possession and brought it down. "FOR FUCK'S SAKE, JUST DIE ALREADY!" He shouted at the top of his lungs as he began roughly hacking away at the body. It should've been in pieces the first few seconds, but an odd lack of force behind the half-demon's wild swings prevented such. However, it was still messy enough to splatter him with blood. "FIRST YOU TRY TO KILL SAHRAH, AND NOW YOU HAVE THE NERVE TO NOT EVEN DIE PROPERLY! I ONLY WISHED YOU SUFFERED MORE, THE FIRES OF HELL ITSELF WOULDN'T BE ENOUGH MISERY FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE!" He raised his blade for one more hit, only to have his wrist caught.

"Kor... That's enough." Said the familiar voice of Kiha, speaking in a softer tone than he was used to. "It's done, the angel's dead..." It was only now did the dragonkin release him. The half-demon only stood there for a few seconds, panting slightly from his recent exertion. Pausing only to give one last hateful glare to what little was left of the angel, he sheathed Soul Eater, and turned to walk away. Kor then groaned in pain as he put a bit too much weight on his injured leg, and would've lost his balance had it not been for Kiha intervening. "Here, let me help you." She'd said, already acting as support. "I'll take you up to the infirmary. The headmasters can clean up the mess here." And with that, the two had begun making their way to said infirmary.

Claira cursed as she looked to Kor. "Dammit, Kor, could you have at least waited for him to answer my question?!" she snapped in anger.

    OOC: gone till tomorrow!

  • The half-demon had been knocked onto his back from the force Sahrah had thrown herself at him, landing with a loud thud on the floor. Doing his best to ignore the bleeding hole in his leg, he returned the tight hug, but not without wincing for a split second. "It's done, Sahrah. That... Thing... Won't hurt anyone else."

'But it's already hurt us both, permanently...' Kor couldn't help but think. 'Not only is she mute... I... I don't even know if my leg will heal. What if it doesn't? Fighting's all I know, and I can't fight with a limp... And... If that's the case...' 'Whoa there, now!' Salamander was quick to interrupt. 'I admire your determination, but wait for the healers to inspect it before you start thinking like that!'

Finnian's expression turned sour immediately. "Damn it all!" He cursed, turning away from the headmaster. 'Wrong angel, Cyrus.' He 'said' to his brother through telepathy. 'Academy people killed it already, get back to the inn and make sure the grey one doesn't trash anything. I'll be heading back soon, as well.' He paused to give Ori one last look before shaking his head and walking off.

  • Sahrah noticed the wound and winced, then gave a look at him, one of sadness, her mouth forming words, then, miraculously, began to speak. "You." She gave a look of disbelief at the sound of her own voice, then hugged Kor, careful to keep pressure off his leg. "I love you." She held him. "I'm sorry you got hurt....." She gently coiled around him and held him close, her head on his shoulder, the lamia soon falling asleep, the featherweight enchantment extending to Sahrah through their contact.

"You'll heal. Just get some sleep." Oritigo was leaning against a nearby wall, watching the two. "I've broken a promise I made to a very dear friend to help both of you, and undone the seal of balflame." He stood up. "Ask salamander if you want to know."

Ooc: Balflame. Also known as balefire. A technique usable only by spirits, but the knowledge of its creation known only to Maxwell. Developed to combat Nebilim's forces, balflame destroys the body it touches completely. Furthermore, the thread of the target's life is burned as well, to a certain point, undoing everything they did after a certain point in time, though the memory of their actions remained. The stronger the balflame, the further back actions are undone. Kor's leg would soon heal from this.

Celsius smiled and nuzzled Icy happily. "Mine forever~" She sighed and kissed him.

Aska smiled and stroked Luna's hair softly. "Because he is a summoner, and therefore a threat."
  • The half-demon's eyes widened at the sound of Sahrah's voice. "B-but you... How...? I mean-" 'Don't question it, you're probably better off that way.' Came Salamander's voice. 'At least now you won't be considering chopping off your leg anytime soon. Though, admittedly, getting a leg made of metal does sound pretty extreme. Good or bad extreme, you decide.' Abaddon added.

Kor, soon ignoring the chatter in his head, returned the Lamia's embrace. "I'm just glad you're okay... I... I love you too." For a few seconds, he just laid there. Eventually, he made the decision to, at the very least, find a more comfortable area to lay down with her. Standing, he managed to lift her with absurd ease due to the featherweight effect on him, and moved over to the bed Sahrah previously launched herself from, laid her down on it, and immediately laid down himself before falling asleep shortly after. Or, trying to. Turns out it's real hard to sleep with a hole in your leg.

'Um, Salamander?' 'Oh, there's no need for the full name, just call me Mandy. And let me guess, go fetch a healer for the leg because you don't want to leave your girlfriend?' 'Pretty much.'.
The half-demon's body glowed a faint red briefly before the fiery spirit materialized seemingly out of the blue next to him. Pausing only to glance at Ori, she floated straight out of the room, where she saw Kiha standing next to the doorway. "Kid's fine. Ori took care of everything." At this, the dragonkin gave her a quizzical look. Before she could ask, Salamander was already gone.

  • Besides the few feathers and the ashes, nothing was out of the ordinary. She did notice, however, that there was something shiny on the ground and went to pick it up. It was a pendant, shaped like a sun with a crescent moon in the center. Claira went wide eyed, holding the pendant. "Guys!"
  • Upon seeing the headmaster, Kayla approached him and said in a low voice behind him:
"Guess congratulations are in order, huh? Good to see you all made it out with only light wounds. Also about balefire, I know of a weapon that had kind of the same effect..Have you ever heard the name Gae-bolg? it's a cursed spear that reverses the nature of causality, the meaning of "cause and effect" in the order of things, to make it so the cause of the "lance being thrust" comes from the effect of the "opponent's heart being pierced" by it. Truly a frightening weapon... i suspect balefire is has a similar effect right?"
  • OOC: Okay, please ASK before introducing a weapon or concept like that. This is my story, and I ask that you respect that. Items that are harmless, Claira's pendant, for example, you don't need to ask about. But a weapon that tears through space-time is a definite no. Also, she would have no damn clue what balefire was, since it has been removed from the mortal time stream until now. As such, please forgive that I am ignoring that post until such time as these errors are rectified.

Oritigo looked at the charm Claira was holding. "Hmmmm. It does have an odd sense of.... Familiarity, doesn't it?"
  • OOC: k k, it was just an item from a legend her father told her, I didn't intend to directly introduce it...just to use it's ability as a comparison and add the fact that there exist weapons with extraordinary powers. But since were at this subject what can she gain in this story? I was about to ask if my char could go in a quest for the legendary weapons <Tizona and Colada> since she can't use magic, summon a familiar or anything remotely related to magic. If you want a better description of what the swords do I'll be happy to provide a description.
  • Oritigo nods and watches her run off, keeping a mental eye on her in case of any danger.

Celsius rested her forehead against Icy's and holds him close, cuddling with him gently.

Aska smiled and held Luna close. "What's up with you, my love~?"

OOC: In this world, everyone has a capacity for magic. Whether or not they choose to learn it is up to them. Also, spirits aren't Familiars. They require no magic to summon whatsoever. Anyway, as for your swords, that is acceptable, as long as the abilities don't get out of hand.
