"I see a weakness to that. Just stay out of the way 'til it runs out, or simply stall. After that, you're an easy target."
Kiha pointed out. She seemed to disapprove of this "Over Limit" altogether.
"Pah! Relying on such things will get you killed. Fights are won by skill and strength alone, not useless tricks to cheat your way to victory."
"Is that all, showing me your parlor tricks?"
She glared suspiciously at the headmaster. That could not have been the only reason.
Already, theories were forming in her head about Oritigo's intentions. One of which seemed entirely plausible.

"I knew something was wrong..."
Said Tristam, finally understanding the situation.
A lone man stood against a recognizable monster. it had the upper body of a woman, but the wings and lower body of a bird. A harpy.
And it, er, she, was trying to kidnap one of the last few male villagers.
That, the half-demon couldn't allow.
"OI! Keep your talons off or I'll cut off those wings!"
The harpy turned in the air to look at Tristam. Right then, she'd apparently decided he was a better target.
"Oh...? Ohohoho! Fine, then. But I get to take you, instead!"
"Just try it!"
His blade was out in front of him, ready to fight as his inner demon rejoiced in the thought of bloodshed.
"I've got this, Sahrah. Stay back."

You know, most people call me insane...
That's what happens when I try to reason with people, they don't like it, and I eventually end up turning them to charcoal in the end...
Why are you looking at me like that?
Despite popular belief, I did not draw the avatar I'm using. I can't draw.
