"And THAT is how you combat a swordsman with your bare hands."
Said Tao as she, yet again, sent Tristam into a wall.
"Tell me again, why do I have to be your punching bag?"
"Because you're the only one capable."
The half-demon groaned. "Cabable" in this case translated to "Tough enough to take the hits."
"And besides, there is one more thing. One last demonstration, promise."
"Ugh... If you insist..."
"Good. Now, what do any of you know of demons?"
Several hands were raised in the air, Tao picked one at random. (Who, oddly enough, looked like he had angel blood in him.)
"They're pure evil, thrive on death and destruction and must be purged from the world?"
He said, completely unaware of the fact that if looks could kill, Tristam would've murdered him right there.
"Partly correct. Full demons can be described as such, though in rare circumstances, they can be forgiven. Anyone else? You there, uh, whatever your name is..."
"Kin."
"Yes, Kin, you have something to say?"
The kid in question stood up hesitantly, and seemed to look for the words needed, all the while shooting nervous glances at Tristam.
"Uh... Well... Er... They have incredibly violent tempers?"
"Heh, yes, they do. A trait that tends to pass on to any children they have... Don't deny it, boy. Twenty minutes ago you were screaming at the top of your lungs."
Tristam, who had just been about to argue, stopped abruptly.
"That is also what I want to warn you about. A demon's temper is a dangerous thing. I'm going to go and assume that all of you have heard about the duel between three students and a certain Matt Grandor. If not, go rub the fact that he got his ass kicked in his face. Tristam here was one of those students, along with that boy there at the window, I can see you, by the way."
Tao merely smiled pleasantly at Zarak before continuing.
"In the middle of that fight, from what I have heard, Tristam had his temper fly out of control, allowing him to shrug off a stab in the back. That's what I want to warn you about. A demon's temper can be their greatest weapon. If enraged or harmed enough, they go berserk. And trust me, even I don't want to deal with a pissed off demon. Little half-blood runts, though..."
"WHO'RE YOU CALLING-"
*WHAM!*
A quick shot to the the head stopped Tristam mid-rant.
"Sorry, couldn't resist. I think we're done here, though. You're dismissed."
Said Tao as she, yet again, sent Tristam into a wall.

You know, most people call me insane...
That's what happens when I try to reason with people, they don't like it, and I eventually end up turning them to charcoal in the end...
Why are you looking at me like that?
Despite popular belief, I did not draw the avatar I'm using. I can't draw.
