My house is haunted. Our house is not exactly too active but it's noticeable by those who come round.


Feeling of being watched - Probably in our heads, to do with how the furniture is laid out
Cold Spots - Could be explained by wind
Shadows of people in the hall at night - Could be a car but you can hear cars
Voices At Night - Our street is quiet but possibly however can hear people walking past
TV turning on and off - We had the electrics tested
Things going missing and coming back - No-one was at home?
Footsteps in the hall - No-one at home?

I was also asleep in bed one night when some-thing grabbed on my foot, I screamed and woke my bf up in a panic. I had pressure marks on my foot where I had been grabbed.

I will be honest it doesn't scare me anymore, we named our ghost Ted and we talk to him. It seems to have calmed him down a lot, he's not so active anymore which is good. Ted is just awesome in my opinion.

I'm not sure of my experiences, but I see faint figures every second/minute, and sometimes just dresses (yes, dresses, white ones too). It's quite irritating actually, because I feel very soft and light touches, which I learned to ignore.

Before, I would wake up and see a face (it's details were white and I remember thinking it's face wasn't quite normal - sorry, bad memory) just staring at me. Then it'd just disappear after I'm fully aware of it. It happened 2-3 times and then, it stopped.

I also remember seeing a woman at the edge of my bed. Just standing there. It's face wasn't showing tough.

I'd also see shadows walking at my entrance of my hallway. I learned to ignore some of it, but you know, when you see them at the corner of your eyes, curiosity just gets the best of you and you WILL look around to see if you can see them clearly.

Unless I come into direct contact with a ghost and it's not just an illusion caused by my brain and it's like breaking things and all kind of stuff, I might buy it. I don't believe in ghosts or mystical creatures or superstition. I'll remain a skeptic until there's up close proof.

I'm an aethist what ever spelling (doesn't believe in god) so no way im going to believe in ghosts. oh quick note i dont have to punctuate these sentences right? anyways i wont believe in ghosts until it kills me, or maybe possesses me. dont u dare say "how can u believe in it after it kills u". some paranormal things are actually just winds (not the most obvious ghost excuse in the world). when it rains AND ONLY when it rains i hear zombie noises out. its just like we whistle, due to the shape of some structures and etc theres a low whistle like sounds when it rains and there are heavy winds. the only un-explainable thing i saw was when i was little i was in a friends house, her grandmother was walking to the bedroom and suddenly a ganapathi statue (small one) fell and almost missed her head (ganapathi is a hindu god) unless it was pushed by a mouse or somthing idk how to explain that. still dont believe in ghosts tho

I do believe in ghosts, to be honest. Perhaps not monster ghosts, like the ones often featured in video games, but ghosts as in, like, beings after you die.

Heck, we haven't even discovered most of the physical animals in our oceans, let alone the things we may not be able to see.

Keep an open mind, since humans have discovered so little.

ok so I was in my living room by myself playing my ps3. then I shut it off and went to bed. then I heard a click and saw it on again. I only have wired controllers so how did it turn on?. then it wouldn't shut off so I just left and then all the cords got umpluged then on the next day I was playing call of duty black ops 2 and I saw a girl sitting in the corner on my background screen. my background screen was suppose to be the walking dead... well it worked fine after that day:-)

I don't believe that ghosts exist in the sense that we seem to think they do (as a shadow/mist etc. that you can see)

Okay so I have SO MANY stories on this subject.

Basically, my mum was a Medium/Psychic/Spiritual Healer. She was able to do all this from a young age, and she wasn't like "normal" mediums. (She was young and quite pretty. And she was also geniune!) She taught my sister and I how to heal and communicate safely with "the other side" and it's something I still do almost everyday

Spirits do exist. Some are positive, some are negative and there is a whole spectrum of them.

Yes, there is pheneomena such as sleep paralyses which can make you feel things or see things, but can you explain getting a phone number from a spirit and then the story checking out at the other end from the person you're calling?

(Which happened to me. If you're interested, I'll post the story. If not then dw :P).

I can comminicate with them, but I don't as much as I used to.

When I lived with my mum, my guitar would be strummed at night (no windows open with nothing near them) and I had a wind-up snowglobe which would just start going off, especially if I struggled to get out of bed for school (hahah!).

We all have spirit guides watching over us, so our houses aren't always haunted, but sometimes they're just trying to let you know that everything is okay

A common way for them to comminicate is through lights and electronics
My mum in fact will mess around with the lights (she passed a few years ago). It's a way for her to communicate without me being scared

It will go dim and won't brighten up again until I ask if its her (I can list several things and it won't lighten until her name
is mentioned.)

But here's a story of me communicating with them

A couple of weeks ago I was at pizza hut with two friends. One of these girls is more of an aquantaince who I barely know and we got onto this subject.
As I was talking to her, I could see a (spirit) lady sitting beside her. The lady was in her 60s, she was smiling, had short blond hair and she was wearing a beige cardigan. Now I NEVER see other people's spirits that are with them, I only ever see my guides, so as you can imagine I was a bit like "should I say something to this girl?"

My instincts told me that this old(ish) lady was my friends grandma, but I didn't even know if her grandparents had died!

So I just said;
"Sophie, have you got any relatives that have passed on, like an aunty or a gran or something?"

And she said that she did, so I said; "The reason I say this is because I can see that you have a lady sitting next to you..." and I described the lady in full. Smiles and all.

Sophie then just burst out crying in the middle of pizza hut!

She said that she was really really close to her gran, and that I had described her perfectly. She also was crying as she told me that
she had kept her gran's beige cardigan for comfort and she would sometimes cuddle it.

Say whhhaaaaaaaat.

I was surprised that I got it right! I mean, how could that be the mind playing tricks? It just can't be especially as I barely knew this girl.

When you say symbols, what do you mean?

Yes I do believe in ghosts. I think it's scientifically possible. For ghosts to take appearance of a person they one were...that I don't know because that's actually too hard to explain. But ghostly energy itself yes :). But then again there is a lot of things that can't be explained and a lot of people that claim to see something and they had no reason to lie whatsoever. I had encounters and all but people just don't care and think it's funny but it's not lol.

I don't personally believe in them, however I won't say that they do or don't exist until I see some evidence. I'd want to see some video footage or something before I made my mind up, live aswell so it can't be setup
