What mic should I get for youtube commentaries. Don't tell me the blue yeti or snowball because they I can not afford (just spend a bunch of money on something else :D) My budget is about 40$ bucks. I know that cheap and good do not mix but whats the best you can offer me ? If it can be something with a stand that would be nice. And you know quality is important. I hope theres some alternative for me. Also 40 USD is 60$ in my country so try to keep close to the budget but not entirely.
What microphone should I get for youtube (low budget)

I use my webcam mic and it is a whole lot better than other peoples webcam mics.
It cost me $69NZD so it should be around $40 in USD.
It's a Logitech HD Webcam C525
Hope it works.
Only other option I can think of is getting a Desktop Mic, one of the cheap ones that only cost $5. The do the job momentarily. Will need a pop filter though, which A sock can do easy -

I don't use seperate mic and Headphones. (Simply cus I didn't have the money to buy both :P)
I got a Creative Sound Blaster Tactic3d Alpha Headset, the sound is great and the mic comes with a filter.
It cost only 25 Euros so it's about 32 Dollars (Thank you google for telling me that)
I use it on my channel, so if you want to hear the mic quality you can check there.Watch my Melon Self play Game Stuffs

The Blue snowball is really ugly, but it sounds great and is low budget. I have not used it myself but I know a lot of youtubers do and they sound great so i'm sure it will work great for you needs as well. However if you want to get a mic that you will never have to upgrade if you become a hit on youtube or whatever it is that you are doing you should look in to the Blue Spark Digital. It looks great and has the best sound quality i have ever heard on a usb mic. It also works with ios devices as well so you can record on to your iphone, ipad, or i whateve. Here is a link to Blues page if you want to look at ether mic bluemic.com/spark_digital/Join the Bongo Crew today by clicking > here <

I suggest you a Blue Yeti, I took it from ebay at 100 Euros

If you want super low budget? Go for the iPod headphones and edit your commentary afterwords to reduce background noise etc. but I know there is a lot of good microphones out there, especially headsets with microphones built in (great for atmosphere when playing).

A quality microphone is one of the most important things on your checklist for a Let's Play channel people will want to watch. I know you said to shut my mouth about the Blue Snowball.... but it's a really good quality for such a low price. I payed no more than $60 bucks for mine (not much more than your budget), and you likely will not need to upgrade down the road if you take this route.
Ask most anyone who enjoy's watching Let's Plays, and they will tell you that bad mic quality means that they won't give your channel a second thought. Even if you're Captain Funny McInteresting, you want that voice to come in clearly. Best of luck to you -
My first mic was a logic tech headset. It was about $30 buck, but worked actually really really well. If your willing to go a little higher then that the Blue Snowball mic is fantastic!

I gotta agree with the people here. The Blue Snowball is the one to start out with as something that is of lesser quality will be noticeable. Shell out the few extra dollars (not much more) and you'll be really happy you did. Just my two cents though, because there are other low price options, but the Snowball is playing it safe that's for sure.YouTube Channel:

Forgot about this post. ><
I now use a Blue Yeti, and it is amazing.
Didn't realize that it would make that much of an improvement but boy did it
My recommendation here is the Blue Yeti, not cheap but worth every penny. -

If you go for a headset then that would be a good shout. I use my Turtle Beach PX3 for commentaries and there is no quality issues. Most modern headsets, especially from companies such as Turtle Beach, are quite high quality. I'd just say if you find a good priced headset quickly check reviews just in case

Sound/Video are two of the most important aspects of a YT video, I'd suggest saving up a little more and getting a Yeti or Snowball, if you make it big they'll pay for themselves in the long run. That being said if you can't afford them and need something now I'd use a basic mic or iphone headset and use Audacity to clean up the noise, it can work wonders. I have a Snowball and still use normalize/compress/noise reduction in Audacity.

Audio quality and Video quality are highly important aspects, actually I would say that they are the MOST important part. So I HIGHLY advise you to save up and then purchase a Blue Yeti microphone, they aren't that expensive the the quality is delicious :3
If you are going to make videos and want people to enjoy them, then there is no other option than to splash out a bit of cash.
